Thanks civiclad, just further confirmed my desire to move to Missisauga or Oakville. Downtown parking + insurance rate just way too high! I bet you, you\'re gonna pay 1000 more a year if you have a downtown T.O. address.Originally posted by civiclad

There\'s no doubt.....when my wife and I were considering moving from North York to Richmond Hill I called and inquired and they told us our rates would go down! Still though, nothing beats living close to the city IMO.

I\'m still here but I haven\'t had much time to check the board lately. Just got engaged in Europe recently so I\'ve been a little busy over this past summer.
For those of you looking for quotes feel free to email me and I\'ll see what I can do, hopefully I can help out some of you as I have done for a few other members in the past.

well I suppose I have one of the higher rates thanks to my lovely driving record(3 speeding tickets, two outrageous, eventually got my license suspended due to demerit pts, and one accident)...This is the first car I\'ve owned as well...
Male, 21, 2006 Mazda 3GT w/GFX
Full Coverage, $500 deductable...$387/month...woo hoo
I\'m pretty lucky, $167/mth with Meloche Monnex.
Early 30\'s, 10+yrs G license, 1 minor ticket, GT+GFX Mazda3. I live Downtown, and I got that rate. Woohoo. $500 Deductible too.
Don\'t have to move out in the burbs.
Strange thing, the finance manager wouldn\'t let me get $1000 deductible on the car, since I can get a lower rate of $1878 on it. Wonder why?
wow.. i\'m surprised they even insured you.. consider yourself LUCKY!!!Originally posted by cdndan

Are you using an alumni discount? If not, you should inquire, cause you get one hell of a deal from MM (that\'s how we\'re insuring two MZ3\'s and our condo for about $250/mth).Originally posted by iconicrocket

Hey akrad, u\'re paying a lot. I suggest you do the driver\'s education training. It\'s worth it. Spend 4 weekends on classroom theory and some pratical.. u\'ll lower your insurance by a thousand a year.
Hi guys,
Just got a quotefrom TD Insuarance (where my current honda civic is insured):
G license, no ticket in the past 3 years (1 speeding ticket in 2001). I\'m 28, first & only driver of the car -->
full coverage, $500 deductible: $2400. Way to high if you ask me, but I\'m stucked w/ them until Jun 2006. I\'ll gonna call TD Monnex and PC Insurance after the policy expires.
You are still $1200 less than me.. Damn tickets.Originally posted by Philip_69
