Thread: Dose Car cost Canada work?

Default Dose Car cost Canada work?

Has anybody taken advantage of “car cost Canada”? I’ve heard this web site will provide you with 5 best quotes for any new car you wish to purchase. Car salesmen run for the hill when you’re coming. Downside is that it could be any where in Ontario.

Anybody used this service or a service similar?
Is it worth the $30 they charge?

    Thanks

Actually they will tell you the dealer cost of the car you are looking at and then they sell your info to a dealer nearby.

In turn, the dealer will call you directly and normally offer you a deal where they split the profit or maybe a little less.

My clients get this info for free, and 90% of the time, a better deal than offered by the 'affiliated' dealer.

CCC is a great option if you are buying a high ticket car.. BMW, Mercedes etc.

so do u mean carcostcanada may not give us as much benefit as the person who wants to buy a BMW or Mercedes?

I personally planning for vw Rabbit or Mazda3 hatchback. So how could I know the correct bargain price?

I agree with Biz which it probably works out well with prestige brands, I just paid for it few days ago revealing prices for my next Lexus, and it came out quite surprise to me how steep the dealer margin is. The sweet thing is right after I revealed it, it automatically refer me to some "auto broker", he contacted me few mins right after I got the quote online and offered me some deal, but I am not sure how in reality it will work well if u'd taken this report and "confront" with the saleman in the dealer, lol

First off, welcome to our forum, and enjoy your stay.

What I meant was, on a prestige vehicle you have a lot more too lose.

On some other manufacturers' vehicles with CCC, the 'pre-negotiated' deal is MSRP. Sad but true.

I would say that when it comes to a high ticket car, Car Cost Canada dose work and could potentially save you some money.

Depends, most canadian dealers don't give much discounts like US, not sure why though... hardly got anything offf my 08 STI

I think competition is always greater in the US plus volume of sales are larger so profit margins can be less. Just my 2 cents.

    Hey gang.
CCC does work well for the consumer and the dealer as well, so both parties are happy in the end.

I am a CCC agent so if you have any questions feel free to contact me.
    Thanks.

If the dealer/salesperson is happy... you paid too much.

Better to buy from someone that doesn't get paid a commission on the sale of the vehicle. Like me.

I don’t recommend car Canada, personally I thinks it’s a waste of $30+ bucks. Basically car Canada will contact most dealers in Ontario and find which dealer is willing to give you the best price “Big Deal, I can do that”. Your better off sitting with a salesman and negotiate the markup price of eight percent.
