Thumbs up Review of SK Performance's Interior Bright White LEDs

I decided to upgrade my interior lights to bright and white LEDS from SK Performance. After the LED upgrade the interior is fully lit up so now when I drop something I don't need a flashlight to find it.

I have LED boards (contains 6 LEDs) installed on the maplights and LED board (contain 12 LED) installed on the dome light for this effect. I had SK do my installation since I wasn't sure on how to mount the LED boards in the maplights. His LED lights come with lifetime warranty and he's local and easy to deal with.

Please excuse my poor photos since I am no camera expert. These were shot with a beaten up Canon SD750 on Auto settings with flash off.

Two views from the backseat to the front dash.

"For anyone interested the lights on Dave's 3.
The map lights are $15 x2
    Dome is $25
    trunk is $15
    License plate pair is $15
Reverse lights are $100 for the pair.

Installation for all of them is free. Like Dave said I don't sell run of the mill lights , all of mine are my design of circuits to offer the most reliable and brightest LED lights. These will be the last lights you will have to buy just keep swapping cars by taking them out and putting them in your new cars. If you need new adapters for them they will be given to you for free. Those reverse lights are def brighter than some of the other ones I've seen here on the forum. Is it just plug and play bulb?

Wow $100 for the full kit? That's pretty expensive
I'm sure they are higher quality bulbs, but i did most of my interior with ebay bulbs at $2 a pop. one did crap out and had to be replaced, and i dont have reverse lights
    but still ...

The interior kit (not including License Plate bulbs and Reverse Bulbs) comes out to $70 including installation.

    Hmmmmmm...

The bulbs look hella bright and from what SK is saying, they are supposed to last a long time.

$100 for the reverse lights, crazy. Must be really good quality, i have no doubts.
Dont think i can justify buying them for myself though..

Dave, I've read your review and that's what sold me on the lights. My photos doesn't do justice to the brightness and the pure white you see from these lights. Thanks for providing the link to your review since I didn't want to link without your permission.

Dave could you take a few pics of both factory halogen and aftermarket LED reverse lights? You know, have the halogen on 1 side, LED on the other and that'll give us an excellent point of reference in terms of actual brightness. Maybe do a similar back end to the wall, and then pictures from different angles of the rear end thanks.

1 other thing, I have the Corksport LED kit. They work with the courtesy dimming and all, but the color is a little bit blue, say 6,000k or something. Prefer 4,300k. Are the SK Performance ones that color?

The photos from Dave are pretty true to their colours. When SK was installing it for me, I had the typical old LED light bulb and compared it to his LED boards. The bulb is definitely blue i.e. 6000K range while the board is more white i.e. 5000K. I won't say that it's 4300k because that his a hint of yellow in them and I don't see that in them.

For anyone interested SK is currently looking for a 3 to do a side by side with vs my own.

Will get a discount on the full kit when all said and done.

I bought the same set from SK Performance back in December. I contend that they are very bright, except the license plate lights. They're the small tiny LED's.

Having said that, I feel the package is overpriced. I recently picked up a PAIR of 12-SMD LED panels from eBay for $9.53 shipped (so one would be about $4.77), I'm using them as my license plate lights. I cannot attest to the quality of the LED panels purchased from eBay, but I will say I purchased them because one of the plate lights from SK Performance burnt out already.

EDIT: The ones from eBay also come with the necessary adapters

    Alvin , right?
That sucks , like i tell everyone to call me if you have any issues so i can look after them.
You asked what i installed on Dave's car and i provided you the same setup .
At no time did you tell me directly you wanted something specifically brighter for the license plates or i would have sold you brighter lights .
Also i am curious what color are they ? White with purplish or white with a bluish tint to them?
You mention mine are overpriced but you fail to mention the comparison of what i sold you and you have just bought for 66% less .
Are they a pure white and as bright as the same sized boards i sold you ?
Also would that same ebay seller spend the time to reply to over 20 emails phone calls and texts from you trying to help you install the lights because you were having a hard time ?

Sharad ... please do not take my posting personally or be offended. Your service and the product you sold should be taken distinctly. Let me make it evidently clear that I am not dissatisfied with your products, however, I'm certain not many would argue with me when I say that $90 is expensive for the LED set.

Secondly, your service provided is / was excellent, very professional, helpful and patient. (For the record, however, I didn't email/call/txt you over 20 times ).

To answer your other questions, the license plate lights looked brighter in the photo, so I was a little disappointed when they turned out to be the tiny bulbs. The panels that I bought from eBay are also pure white and equally as bright as the the ones you had sold me. They do not have a bluish or purplish tint to them. It's hard to determine just by a picture, but I will likely be attending the AA meet on April 26 if anyone would like to do a comparison. The LED's purchased from eBay are closer together than the panel you sold me.

In any case, kindly do not get offended by my posting, as I indicated in my former post, I cannot necessarily say whose LED panels are of superior quality, but $90 at least to me is on the expensive side for what seems to be a similar / same product.

VERY bright ... I was crossing the border at Detroit coming back into Canada and I turned on the lights so they could see better inside. The officer asked why my lights are so bright, and that I could probably hold a meeting in the car I told him I got the lights from SK Performance. He was quite impressed.
