As I get older I find it more and more difficult to be as active as when I was a young tike!! :p I try to keep active and get rid of my current \"PEAR\" shape!! :D :p I know some of you guys play hockey (Majic) among other things. I currently try to run (training for Philadelphia Marathon), play v-ball (TESSC), b-ball (Recreational), softball (CCSA), dragonboat (Wong\'s Imperial Dragons) and try to do weights.
What do you guys do???
:D

I drink and smoke!
Naw for real I take Aikido and Jodo, play golf (very poorly at that!), and B-ball. These activities help to balance out my late nite activites of driking and smoking and the munchies that follow after!;)

I watch what I eat, especially the quantity and the quality of food that I consume (although I still allow myself 1 day out of the week to eat junk food). I cycle about 5 to 10km once a week to improve my cardio, but I nightly it\'s just 200 situps, 200 push-up and some light weight training. Hey, it works for me, I\'ve lost a couple of inches from my waist and I am down 15lbs since the beginning of the year.

I go to the gym almost every other day. Do cardio and weights for a year. Took 1\" off my waist.
I can flex my pecks now.

High intensity training. I work out 3 days a week (full body, low reps, *very* heavy weights), and jog on alternating days. I also practice capoeira, (On my own, until I can find a school in the area). You should probably look at Bodybuilding.com (http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/johnprog2.htm)\'s workout plans, and choose one that fits your goals.

You can do a thousand push-ups, and it makes no difference. Doing so many doesn\'t build muscle; it only increases the reps that the muscle can handle.

I only do push ups in sets of 15. After each set, I change hand positions with a few seconds of rest in between each set. I just want to tone up, I don\'t want to bulk up because that would ruin my golf game (lack of flexibility).

dang.. you do all that.. a lot of cardio will help to get you back to the \"HOURGLASS\" figure you yearn ;) :p lol... also watch what you eat. i cut back on regular foods (just eating smaller portions) and over 3 weeks or so lost 15 lbs.. and i know it\'s hard, since i love food - i\'m known as the human vacuum - but it\'s doable. time to start my work lunchtime running routine - really do you need 1hr to eat lunch? neah..
on top of that, 2hrs of hockey on saturdays plus some walks/hikes with the missus :p plus soccer sundays coming up! :)
oh also talk to your gf.. maybe you can get more of this :)

^^^ ROFL! Yeah the girlfriends always say that it doesn\'t matter what you look like but that\'s full of S--T. Definitely more \'fun\' when you\'re fit!
In all seriousness, diet does play a huge role as majic says. Eating sensibly (no seconds!) and whole foods (ie. not processed) with physical activity (whatever you fancy , personally I like doing stuff with my gf ;) ) can work wonders.
I find that I can lose weight quickly but I can gain it just as fast. A couple days of bad eating and loafing around really messes up my figure!
Hey Bluntman, where do you usually play golf?

That\'s the thing...I don\'t anymore, or at least I haven\'t gone this year. Don\'t have much disposable income anymore since I am still paying for 2 trips to the Philippines that I took earlier this year. I\'ve only gone to the driving range twice this year, but last year I used to go twice on the weekend and occasionally play at Bushwood and once at Glen Cedars.

if you\'ve ever watched \"SuperSize Me\" you\'d stop eating Mickey D\'s.. the gf/wife of the guy who went on MD\'s \'diet\' noticed a dramatic decline in their sex life. he became lethargic, had much less energy in bed.. he wasn\'t as firm and he always wanted to be on the bottom.. :p she wasn\'t impressed..
so hear mne out guys.. ditch the MD\'s and you\'ll make your girls happy :)
and yah.. \"it\'s what\'s inside that counts\" buncha boloney :p they want those firm abs on us as we want those firm butts on them :D

Mmmm firm buns!!
Hey bluntman that\'s too bad. I started out strong this season, at least 1 round a week and plenty of range time, but then stopped for a while cause my funds got low as well. Since then haven\'t really had much interest in it. I usually play the city course, Scarlett Woods, or Rolling hills. Sometimes Cresthaven (an executive course... $13 twilight!)
