I was just wondering if anyone who has installed an injen cold air, put their battery duct back in afterwards?, or if it even fits with the cold air system? Now that I have painted it I would like to keep it on after i get a cold air, or maybe i\'ll just go with the umnitza. I do like the way that cai looks. If anybody has either please let me know how they like it and which one you would recommend. I do like the sound of the injen, but don\'t know what the umnitza sounds like or how it performs.....

The battery duct will work with the Injen intake.

I don\'t think there is much of a difference... AEM is cheaper.. Tires23 has a good deal on them.

As far as I know... everybody has done it themselves. If you went to a mazda dealer, (they know the car) it would take them about 45 minutes... and charge $80. Any joe blow shop would problably charge at least $50. Do it youself might take ya 90 minutes.

You could always ask for help. kinda like this... *Hey guys(gals), I\'m installing my Injen on the weekend? Gonna have some beers here(quite a few) and the Girlfriend is picking up Pizza for lunch. Anyone wanna give me a hand?*

i got mine done at a shop, $40 i believe. If you take it to a little shop they usually dont charge much... Did you guys know some mazda dealerships dont install aftermarket stuff...?
i asked brampton mazda to install my springs and they asked if they are aftermarket I said yes and they said NO....

oh and by the way dont be scared with the maf wires, on the battery box there are 2 clips holding the wire.. jus cut those clips off and you will get the slackness you need!:D
