MOM 2005 Volunteers!

Hellooo everyone!

Ok, crunch time is coming, and there is a little over a week before the event will be finally here! So as for this, I am looking to recruit volunteers to help out in regards to guidance, helping with questions, arrangement of parking, helping with registrations, set ups, and well... grunt workers too :P (worst case scenarios)... haha


Anyways, we could really use the help to make the a VERY successful event, everything is coming together nicely with lovely prizes to be won, giveaways and... AWARDS ... :)

do we have to register our cars to win awards and prizes

All cars that enter the park will receive tickets towards the draw which will have prizes. Awards are judged by the public, each car will receive a number, and the attendees will right down which cars they liked best..

This year is similar to last year; First place, Second place, and a Best of Show. Your entering the park in your Mazda vehicle is already the \"registration\" to be a candidate for people to vote for your vehicle.

This year we have the following first and second place groups;

Mazda3
Mazda6
Protege (sedan)
Protege5
Miata
RX-8
RX-7
Other

and the single \"Best of Show\" trophy.

VOLUNTEERS - we need at least FIVE people to help us out. The main tasks will be directing traffic as it rolls in to the designated parking areas (Mazda3s, Proteges, RX-7\'s, etc) and tallying of votes.

First thing in the morning really...

We probably mainly need people to help direct traffic to their parking spots in the beginning of the day.

11am – 12pm – Roll-in
12pm – 2:30pm – People’s choice judging takes place
2:30pm – 3:30pm – Tallying of the votes
3:30pm – 4pm – Award presentations
5:00pm – Roll-out


I think we\'re meeting at 8:30 am to set up to head there

I\'ll help out for sure. Not sure If I\'ll make it for 8:30 though!!!:zzz Too early on a Sat morn. gotta watch my cartoons first!

Anyways, I will try and get out there as early as possible and help with whatever you guys need. Represent TM3!
