License Plates - weird didnt post the first time...!

OK, I know someone here works for Ontario Vehicle Licensing. I searched but can\'t find anything so I\'m hoping he/she will read this.

Alternatively if anyone else has any thoughts on my question, thanks......

I want to get a UK or other International license plate printed up with my Ontario plate numbers. Is this legal? As long as I have that renewal sticker on there, does it matter?

IT matters. You have to have the correct ONTARIO sized (white) plates displaying the sticker on the top right corner, for the rear and the front plat has to be affixed to the front of the car in a conspicuos spot (not inside the car) ... ON the car.

The plates would be on the exterior of the car, there would also be room for the renewal sticker on the plate.

But you said the plate has to be correct Ontario size, and as UK plates are longer and thinner, I guess its a no go.......

you can\'t have difference size for license plate. In HongKong, we can have Euro shape (long & thin) or NA size (our regular shape). But I saw quite a lot of cars just put the Euro plate on the dashboard or at back.
