I was checking out m3f and I found the MazdaSpeed Rear Camber Kit (http://www.trademotion.com/partlocator/index.cfm?action=MorePartInfo&PartID=316034&siteid =213989&catalogid=3299) . Can these work with all springs and not just the MazdaSpeed springs? do you have to re-align the wheels after you install this aswell?

FlipSpeed is their anyway you can get ahold of these?
TIA:D

ok.. here is my 2 cents.

These will work with ALL springs. These adjustable links have nothing to do with what kind of springs you have.

You DO NOT need the kit unless your Camber Is out of Spec. Spec is -1.3 degrees +/- 1 degree

I lowered my car with Teins and have 18\" 45mm offset wheels. My Camber is @ -2.3 which is at the high end of spec. But still within spec. I would have no need for this kit.
IF my camber was -2.8 or -3.1 , then the kit would be an option to put the camber back into spec and prevent excessive tire wear.

THEN... Most High performance tires and Competition tires are made to run with negative camber, i.e Pilot sport cup / Kuhmo ECSTA V700 need to be run with -2 to -3 negative camber... it is the negative camber that makes the tires bite into the road while turning.

so.... The kit is something 98% of people don\'t need... lowering your car dosen\'t qulify either unless your camber is whack... even then... your car handles better that way

How bad can it get and what factors it...the drop?....is it the lower you go the more camber?

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
thats stock suspension.....if i had taken the pic farther away it looks even worse especially when u look at the car from the rear dead on, am planning to get the eibach pro-kit soon, so its not a big drop but the rear camber is what worries me...i dont want to rotate tires every 10k...i rotate them by season lol

plus anyone notice that i have the rarest tires ...probably even on m3f :p ..........Nokian Summers

Did you get an alignment? If so what is it at? In my previous post the range is stated. There is supposed to be negative camber with our cars. As long as it is not over -2.3 degrees.

p.s Make the pic smaller :sarc

Thankx

Kevin at DWM has the Mazdaspeed kits now.

I have to order them in so they\'ll take a couple of days to arrive.

im dropped on the prokit....with 18\'s...and only my rear right tire, for whatever reason is out by like .2 of a degree...whoop di do....so no need for it here....so prokit owners...you dont need camber kit...

Ok i\'m really struggling what type springs i should go for. I really like the S-tech but does that require a camber kit? And what about the H-tech? does that need a camber kit as well?
Will an alignment be just find if ido\'nt use camber kit on s-tech springs?

I\'m really trying to save some cost because i\'m still paying for tuition but want my ride to look nice and stand out in school. And the cost of the camber kit can go into my kenstlye kit savings :)
I\'m picking up my car on the 20th and if everything goes well i\'m going to lower it as soon as possible so i can have as much fun before winter comes

So if anyone knows any of the information please help me out..Thank you

if you need to show off your ride to your buddies and have a larger e-penis than most then you should ask your sugga\' daddy for some $$ or just drive his TL instead..

I don\'t think ANYONE has a camber kit installed yet (no matter what springs they have.. maybe 1 or 2 ppl) anyway.. you should pick the springs based on the drop you want and the stiffness you desire..

Has anybody seen them cheaper than this?

Further to SABIO\'s points, often camber is not the cause of increased tire wear. Out-of-spec toe can be the culprit as well. I\'m not familiar enough with the MZ3 (yet), but toe should be able to be fixed by through an alignment.
