A couple of months back I gouged the front driver-side fender, so I took it to Gyro Mazda as it is very close to my house.

According to the service manager the guy that worked on my car was; and I quote:

\"The best Mazda body specialist in the world\" :D :sarc

Suffice to say, initially the job was good, but now the fender seems to have popped out and is no longer in my opinion \"the best job in the world\" :sarc

Boo....

SourcE, how much did you spend if you don\'t mind me asking? My wife\'s 3 had a small incident about a week ago in a parking garage, and while we\'re fairly confident they will pay for it, there\'s always a chance we will have to pay out of pocket.

So I popped into Gyro at the weekend to get a touch up pen.

Got chatting to the service guy and it turns out that if I installed the Mazdaspeed flywheel I would not void any of my warranties because, \"It\'s mada by Mazda and therefore designed specifically for the 3\".

Looks like I\'ll be going to Gyro for all my \"Orange\" Mazdaspeed part installs....:sarc

gyro mazda is horrible. I bought my car from them and have free oil change coupons and I still wouldn\'t let those monkeys touch my car. They have no idea what they are doing in there. I go all the way up to Dave Wood Mazda in Newmarket.

Well I decided to give them a second chance (not by choice) MAF sensor died on the way home from work and was able to drive the car into the lot of Gyro. Dealt with Jeremy the whole time as I'm not really a fan of the other service advisors. He was cool and had the MAF replaced in less than 24hrs and got me on the road the next day. What really impressed me was that he actually called me and kept me up to speed with everything they were doing. Really liked that because I'm usually the one who has to hound them to see if stuff is getting done, or if the work to the car is finished. If I do start dealing with them again...and its still and If. I will only deal with Jeremy. Good guy to talk to about mazdaspeed parts too. Now on to my sales experience...

Sales: After my car was fixed, I decided to check out the MS3's. None were in the showroom. Talked to James, who was good enough to go over the cars features but never sat down and crunched the numbers with me because "we won't have any in stock for the next two months so we'll do the appraisal on your car then etc etc." Understand that I will be putting on more kms. till then, but I kind of wanted to know how much it would cost me, and if it was worth trading my sedan in now that there are new colours available. Anyways I left my contact info with him. Next day I get a callback from James saying that he's already pre-sold a MS3 on a condition of a test drive, and if I wanted to come in and do the same. I was like ummmm no. Anyways a better experience by Gyro madza than I'm used to, but they just don't really go out of their way to wow a customer anymore. Anyways this was my experience with them this time.
