Weak metal?

After friday\'s wonderful weather, the roof and hood of my 3 is now pock-marked with about 30 tiny dents from the hail!! As far as i know my car was one of the only ones in the parking lot to be damaged that bad. The car sitting next to mine was a Protege 5 and didnt get a single dent!

Is the 3\'s exterior made of a more lightweight or weaker material than other cars or something? Anyone know if those tiny indents are easy to remove, and how much that would cost?

I have no idea about the integrity of the sheet metal, but I do know a number of people who have the same little dimples in their cars as a result of the hail on Friday, including an Accord and a Mini.
