Stone chip rusting

Was just cleaning the car when I noticed a small stone chip on the roof. There is some red discoloration and it appears to be rusting.

Any thoughts on a remedy, or can I take the car back under warranty and get a free trade to a MazdaSpeed 3 for the inconvenience....! ;)

Clean it and apply some touch up paint.

Sure why not try to get a free trade to a MazdaSpeed 3 for a rust spot, if it happens let us know because I think we will all want the same deal.

I got a pretty nasty stone chip down to the metal.
This is how I got my stone chip fixed.. got my bro to help me.

What we did:
-cleaned the area
-used painters tape around the chip
-applied 3 thin layers of touch up paint waited 2 hours between layers
-then smoothed it down with water/sandpaper and buffed it out after.

it looks PERFECT!

took the whole friggen day :( but it\'s worth it.
