Anyone know whats that all bout? Is it a better filter that we can just switch? Does changing the air filter result in better air quality in the cabin? Also I notice when turning on the a/c that theres a musky smell when I just turn the a/c on.. i had that in my old acura and i dunt want the problem to stick.. it goes away if I turn it on high and let it blast for a min or 2. Any tips?

It\'s a common problem in all cars. The musky smell is mold that is on the condenser coil on the AC. The only way to get rid of it it to blast some hot air on it (turn on the heater for a minute) before turning off the AC.

yeah I read somewhere I think in the Acura manual that you should turn off the a/c a few minutes before you turn off the engine. So short trips where the a/c goes on and off isnt very good for the system... I am gonna try doing some stuff n see what hapens. will post back :)

If you turn off the A/C a few minutes before getting to your destination you shouldn\'t run into that mold problem.

All you have to do is check the INTERIOR mods forum; there is a sticky at the very top of the page.

I can\'t see it being any different than the one that\'s available now. I still haven\'t seen the part number for the 06 filter yet.

Yeah reason I was curious about it was that they specifically mentioned Micron Air Filter, would appreciate an update once you know . Thanks Joe. If I am still getting lots of dust in the car presumably from outside what r my options?
