Just an idea.

Wow! How\'d you get your hands on one of those so fast?

I bought myself a PIE adapter (http://www.discountcarstereo.com/detail.aspx?ID=445) and this cable (http://www.discountcarstereo.com/detail.aspx?ID=767) in order to connect my iPod to the factory HU. That cable in conjunction with a Belkin Auto Kit (cigarette lighter with 1/8\" aux input) gave me a true aux input (didn\'t want to use the headphone jack) and let me charge my iPod at the same time.

There\'s also the Dension route, but if you\'re really cheap and handy with a soldering iron, try this hack (http://mymazda3.patricktam.net/project_aux_input.asp).

BTW, I\'ll do the \"Majic thing\" and say...the Search button is your friend (http://torontomazda3.com/forum/search.php?perpage=20&sortby=dateline&sort=DESC&q= ipod&qauthor=&forums%5B%5D=all&matchmessage=1&acti on=display).
