Luckily, my Yahoo mail server has a spam (bulk) filter. What a waste of bandwidth that spam causes.
I don\'t need no pre-approved mortgage. I don\'t need XP software. The last investment regarding *****ian royalty didn\'t work out so well for me, so I don\'t need no more of that. I don\'t need no Viagra offers (although the Cialis ones are quite interesting).
So, is there a way I can spam them back? Where is there a website where I can punch in these senders\' e-mail addresses and have them receive gazillions of junk mail in return. That would be frickin sweet!!!

I think one of the reasons their addresses are always so obscure is because they are constantly changing. There are only a few e-mail addresses that never seem to change for me, so sending it back wouldn\'t likely do anything.
What I can\'t figure out is why is spamming so popular.....does it actually work? I mean, are there idiots out there who actually believe some *****ian\'s father died recently and needs assistance to transfer millions upon millions of dollars out of the country :sarc

Best thing to do is delete the email without opening it. Email tracking software can tell the spammers whether you opened the email, when you do, it pings the spammers telling them that the email account is active. Then they spam your ass even more.
Delete the email, don\'t open it, and don\'t reply, even to those links that say something about being taken of the email list.
Spam sucks:sarc

Can they track it without my knowledge? I mean if my computer is clean of spyware, can they still know whether I opened it or not? DANG SPAMMERS!

I have had better luck with G-Mail accounts. As for Hotmail and Yahoo the penis enlargement and sex enhancement ads keep on coming like crazy. 14/day at least. Little do they know that I\'m like the Black Hue Heiffner.
Like it was said before, Never open it, return it or sign-up to be taken off a mailing list cause it gets tracked. It\'s like Internet Aids. Also while I\'m surfing I used to get these annoying pop-ups until I stopped Netscape, stopped Internet Explorer and switched to MOZILLA/FIREFOX and used AD-AWARE SE and my problems are next to none.

It CAN be tracked without your knowledge, and without spyware on your computer.
A popular way to do this is to insert a 1pixel x 1pixel .gif image into the email, for example a white square. Tracking software can then track how many times that .gif was viewed.
Damn spam..:p

BRILLIANT! EVIL, but BRILLIANT!
What will these geek/nerds come up with next? I am now convinced that geek/nerds will rule the planet one day. They\'ll have to overcome the reproduction issue, but other than that, they\'ll run the world soon.

If that\'s the case, let TM3 come out with the pocket protectors, glasses frames/lenses, and acne medication! $_$

If you have figured out the spammer\'s e-mail address, sending hundreds of e-mails with link to this (http://mosnews.com/news/2005/07/25/spammerdead.shtml) might serve as a fairly effective warning...

yeah, they can easily track if you opened the email and they can even track how long it approximately took you to read the whole email (from opening to clicking delete or logging out).
like Source said, don\'t bother opening or even reading it. just delete it. as for their email address. don\'t reply to it. couple reasons being that most of the time, its not their own email address so they don\'t feel the bad effects if you spam them back. they can even be spammer@torontomazda3.com w/o the admin of tm3 knowing.
mozilla firefox is one of the best internet browsers you can use to help prevent pop-ups. although some still get through cause these geeks finds new ways to pass through the filter.
best way to safeguard your computer, get a free software called Spybot. it will tell you everything that is a potential risk in your computer and even tell you of major changes to your computer\'s registry. its up to you if you want to delete it or fix it.
man, i sure want to kill the person who invented these stupid spam.:hoho :hoho :hoho
