Couldn\'t wait for the yellow H11\'s. I used Tamiya clear yellow acrylic paint.

Haven\'t ordered them yet. I\'m not even sure if it\'s taken yet maybe bluntman can answer that for me.

Did you just mask around the fog light housing?
I have the yellow h11 bulbs but the lense is still clear (I thought it would atleast reflect a lil bit of yellow) but it looks really good like that...
Thats a great idea too... Do you have a part # or whatever for the Tamiya paint?

Just an update the extreme heat of the foglights melted away the paint. So I just scraped off the excess paint with a razor blade. I guess I\'ll just wait for the yellow H11\'s.:sarc

I have the Noyka H11 Yellow fogs in my car and I really like them. The colour output is very yellow and very close to the Lexus Yellow. Now I actually want foul weather just so that I can use the fogs. :p
But as chaser said, if you want the yellow fog look when your fogs are off, the Lamin-X stuff works great.

Would it be too much to have yellow fogs and the yellow lamin-x?
I noticed when i compared my yellow fog to Majics yellow lamin-x the output was not as bright. I love the light out but i love the yellow look too.
Can it actually be TOO YELLOW?

If you like yellow, it\'ll never be too yellow :p
Why not give it a try? I\'m sure you are not the only person who wants to know the result ;)

After comparing my Lamin-X with RedRaptor\'s Nokya 2500k H11 side-by-side, I knew I needed more yellow. The Nokya 2500k gives 2x or more of yellow output then Lamin-X. I finally got a pair of Nokya from FMP and put them on. Here is the result:
Passenger side: Lamin-X | Driver side: Nokya + Lamin-X

No worries...I had the same problem with one of my bulbs and the set that I got for MajesticBlueN has the same problem. Use some pliers and the clips down a little until they fit tight enough. :)

I installed my Nokya\'s when it was -10 degrees outside without jacking up the front of the car(lowered). If you look at the online manual on the forum there is a section on removing the shields to get to the fogs. Someone should put up a step by step install and I\'ll sticky it.

Joe, you are so hardcore! I installed my Nokya\'s in 5C temperature back in November without jacking up the car as well, before I headed out to work (and I thought I was hardcore). It took 15 min total.
Here (http://www.msprotege.com/forum/showthread.php?t=56709) is a guide on how to swap out your foglights courtesy of MsProtege.

My tip: It\'s much easier to take out (turn) the bulb from the housing if you un-plug the bulb from the wire first ;)

Bent the clip a little, still loose. Bent it a little more... better, but still loose. Bent it some more and Snap!!

Sorry to bring back and old thread, but chaser, does the Lamin-X make much of a differences to a pair of Nokya? I want more yellow, but don\'t want to waste money and time on the film if it doesn\'t do much more.

The Nokya\'s burn the Lamin-X :(
I\'d Lamin-X and stock fog bulbs with no problem for a year. But soon after i changed to Nokya\'s, they burned the film quite badly. I guess it\'s because the Nokya is longer than the stock bulbs, thus they sit closer to the lens.
I haven\'t had a chance to compare the yellowish of Nokya vs. Nokya + Lamin-X; but considering the burned mark, Lamin-X is not worth if you already have Nokya. I\'ve contacted Chris @ Lamin-X and he said their new pre-cut film should resolve the over-heated problem. Lamin-X is a good product that it gives the yellow lens appearance but it just can\'t co-exist with the Nokya\'s.
