Saw this on Mazda3Forums...
At first glance I am not sure if I like it or not... I love how it separates the doors but, I don\'t know there is just something that I don\'t like..
Anyone else do this yet??

leave my eye out of this or i\'ll bring it back ;)
i think it looks a little out of place - if you could do the mirror parts that are black, body colour THEN it MIGHT look ok..
Makes it look like a Jetta. Not that that\'s a bad thing, but I think our cars look better with the black trim.

Like the black trim better, especially if you\'ve tinted windows.

Yeah it does make it look like a Jetta. Considering the black trim is only 3M tape I would paint it. If you don\'t like it then just put the tape back on.

I\'m not sure why, but I like the black trim better.

I went through the M3 Thread... It is actually kinda neat... I always thought it was Black paint on the windows.... Kinda weird how they would actually cover it all up....with plastic..
I might actually do it.. Since I gots the white mirrors already...

Hey Jeff if you do decide to go ahead and do this mod. All you have to do is remove the black vinyl tape on the pillars. It\'s painted underneath.;)

I wonder if that portion of the paint is \'protected\' like the rest of the exterior?

I am undecided. Guess it depends on the colour of the car. The red car does look great though.

I think it doesn\'t look right, you can say it look like a Jetta, but you can also say that it looks like a base model Corolla or Matrix. It looks worst when the windows are tinted.

is it just me, or does the red where the tape was removed look a shade different? maybe it hasn\'t faded any cause it was covered up? the bottom picture especially.

I don\'t think it looks right... Leave it black, i think it looks so much better that way. The black rubber trim at the bottom (once the black is removed) doesn\'t look right just sitting there.
