we have a TSB for engine mount and I think I need to replace. but before I go to dealer, there are some aftermarket engine mounts, what do you guy think to have Mazda fix it for free:p , or spend some $$ to have a \"better\" one? thanks for the help.

Get it done free and then change it after if you dont feel a difference.

What aftermarket mounts are made for our car? i\'ve never seen any.

I\'ve had vibration problems, mostly around the 2100 RPM mark. Unfortunately, 60km/h in 4th gear (2.0 MTX) is around 2100 RPM. The vibrations are felt through the steering wheel, pedals, shifter and centre console. :(

The vibration can also be felt when at standstill and revving the engine up to the 2100 RPM range. The car shudders and shakes quite a bit.

The number three engine mount has been replaced, but the vibration problem remained. Now I have had the nuumber three engine mount replaced a second time along with the number four engine mount. The vibration problem is much better now while on the move, it still shakes a bit at around 2100 RPM while standing still though. With the replacement of the engine mounts I now have a new \"noise\" when starting the car, a kind of \"thunking\" sound as the car starts, after that all is well.
