Hey all,
I am sure I have seen this before on some forum. i have been trying to search for days now but wiht no luck. I was curious if anyone remebers seeing a dash pocket that replaced the top ac vent plastic to a sunken pocket wiht a back used for an aftermarket screen or gps system. if anyone remebrrs this or knows of a link or anything thats would be awesome!

check out ebay - some dude from Taiwan sells this stuff - replaces top panel on the dash with a plastic piece that allows what you are looking for.

i was thinkin about that, but, i just have a feeling it will kill the lines of the dash!

Actually I found the original post. This pocket is available and its great for any aftermarket GPS setup.

hmmm, now only if i could get that screen to flip down....then id so have myself an audio/video setup!

that would be the option i\'d go with if i were to do a navi unit install - but the downside is you\'d have to cut your dash to get the tray in...

plus you\'d probably have to hide your unit when you leave your car which would get annoying..

your probably right....same thing is a removeable face system. My cuzin got his stolen once since he didn\'t remove it. He ALWAYS removes it now.
