Got LED tails from Toronto Mazda

I finally got my LED tails for my hatch. After calling a dozen dealers in my area I finally found the part at Mazda of Toronto on Yonge Street. B32L V7 350 is the kit that comes with outer LED tails only (without reverse lights). It costs $541.91 (before taxes) but I was able to use my Mazda 10% off coupon on accessories so I got it for $487.72 (before taxes) and a free Mazda watch. I think it might be a little cheaper from JapanParts.com (even with shipping) but I didn\'t want to wait for delivery.
Anyone wanna buy my regular bulb tail lights from me???

I just installed my LED tails. For some reason it doesn’t fit as well as the factory installed ones. There’s a slight gap between the light assembly and the body (only noticeable up close). What am I doing wrong? Anyone with experience have tips?

Remove the offending housing and you may notice that you\'ve bent of the plastic guides. Not a big deal, just straighten it and try reinstalling it.

Try applying a bit of pressure to keep it in position before fully tightening the screws. I had the same problem when it was guided into position by the screws alone.

Also check out the video (if you have the patients to download it). It\'s a night video of LEDs turning on & off.

I also included pics of my LED 3rd brake light I installed a few weeks ago (thanks to Red Raptor and Tony). I painted the housing black. Enjoy.

hey John,

Looking real sharp man. I\'m loving my LED tails as well since I got them 2 weeks ago. Now we got the same set up in the rear with the OEM LED tails and Tonyzoomzoom\'s 3rd LED brake light. Good job in painting the housing as well :)
