Hey.
I have finally decided to trade in my VR6 Jetta for another car. I was thinking about the new civic or corolla... but I liked the 3 overall and so did my wife... so... I decided to go with the 3.
I went to the dealership after work and closed a deal on a 2006 GT Sedan with GFX, Luxury and 5spd auto. I got it in the Snowflake White Pearl. The car was in the showroom and it was the exact car I wanted. Got a great deal and I was content on my trade in since it has over 168K on it. I think I will be content with the 4 cylinder and shouldn\'t miss the VR6 too much... at least my wallet won\'t! :)
So I should have the car by Weds or Thursday latest!
I\'m excited... :p

Congratulations and welcome. Yours is the hot colour this year.
As a former VW owner myself, I can tell you that your ownership experience will be very positive and you will enjoy your Mazda for many years to come. My Jetta had 200K on it when I traded her in. After VW switched production from Germany to Mexico I said \"auddious muchachos\" and left VW - never to return. With the horror stories reported lately of VW\'s build quality - it was the right decision. Zoom Zoom!

hey thanks! I look forward to driving it more than just the test drive.
The VW I had was a 2000 and unfortunately was made in Mexico... and I thought it was time to let it go. The VR6 engine was nice to drive but the gas was starting to get to me. It drank premium...
I have been reading that the pearl white is the hot colour... but I haven;t seen many... YET ;) I don;t mind... I have always liked the look of a clean white car...
I guess everyone who has white or bought white is waiting for it to arrive?
I\'ll get the jump... I\'ll hit the road first... hehe..
Yup, it\'s another white. :p
PSIVIC! You hear me?

Son of a bitch.....I\'m gonna have to write to Mazda and tell them to stop producing white 3\'s for a few months! It\'s like EVERY member in the last few weeks who\'s joined has gotten white.
Ah well, congrats on the purchase, you\'re gonna love it like most of us do.
Oh and by the way, you\'re not the first SFWP in either Sport or sedan....sorry to burst your bubble.

hey psivic...
I know that I am not the first to get the colour. I was just saying that i\'ve been reading on this board that everyone seems to be getting the SFWP but I have not seen many on the road. I have only seen one sedan and one Sport ... and even then I was not sure if it was Arctic or Pearl... regardless it is a sweet colour.
you just have good taste. imitation is the best form of flattery. :)
I am sure I will love the car as most of you guys do as well.
:p

I\'m just messing, no worries about the white. It\'s tough to distinguish between the two whites when it\'s overcast out, but once the sun is out there is a noticable difference IMO. I like both, so I\'m glad we have one of each!

hehe...
it\'s all good...
I really noticed it obviously last night in the showroom... it was quite nice.
I have always liked the colour...
I live in Markham right now and will be moving to North York..
So... i\'ll be one of the sfwp in the area :P
No ideas what I plan on doing to the car yet... money is tight... house takes precedence.

Where in North York? That\'s where my wife and I live right now with our two white MZ3\'s! It\'d be funny if you were to move into the same area, though considering the size of North York that\'s not likely.

So my car will be ready on Thursday after work.
I can\'t even wait 2 days... I cannot even imagine the people who had to wait 6 weeks!

Just curious why you put premium in a VR6 when it requires just regular?
The 3 is nice but you will never have another car that sounds as nice as a VR :hoho

Actually it recommended that I use premium octane 91...
I don;t mind saying I drive a Mazda 3!
I pick it up in 20 mins... this afternoon has been dragging........

I think the newer V6 engines were okay for regular... but unfortunately my engine wanted premium.
anyhoo...
it\'s gone in 10 mins...
I will give the VR6 one more good boot down the highway. I already kind of did last night ;)
