Kipling Tire (Etobicoke) - (416) 233 5551

BF Goodrich Winter Slalom - 205/55/16 - $575 inc. tax
Michelin X Ice - 205/55/16 - $731 inc. tax

16\" steelies @ $55 per wheel.

There is a $50 rebate on Michelins till Monday, but if you call before then they will take a deposit and hold the tires for you to pick up at a later date.

Any thoughts on the better all round tire, Michelin or BF Goodrich. I heard the tread wear on the Michelins wasn\'t the best.

the winter slalom is an old tire.. (2001 IIRC) BOTH tires are comparable in that they are SOFT (Q and S rated) thus wear quicker than H/T rated tires.. michellin u usually pay more for the brand name, but out of those 2 tires i\'d say it\'s the better one.. 150 bones better? dunno.. i myself like the performance winter tries vs the ice/snow ones.. but that\'s just me..

EDIT: if the 50$ credit is after the prices stated above, that makes it only $100 diff.. even harder to decide :p
