The Echo Hatch is now the 2006 Yaris. They don\'t call it the Echo anymore, probably reserved for the 4 door sedan.

Goodbye Echo - say hello to Yaris! This one is going to be HUGE for Toyota. Yaris is a world nameplate for this vehicle with specific changes to meet our unique Canadian market. Just hope that the Scion brand doesn\'t follow into Canada or Toyota WILL obtain first place in domestic sales ahead of GM - it\'s that good. The 2 AND 4 door Yaris will be coming to Canada - our hurricane prone neighbours to the south get only the 2 door version. The 4 door Echo was a sales disaster there and won\'t be coming back.

I like it, except the center mounted gauges.

Check out the Accessories Configurator on that site...pretty cool! You can even get lowering springs right from Toyota. I wonder if they\'ll have similar TRD parts for the Yaris as was available for the Echo.

I like it. I\'ve been a fan of the current Echo RS. I love how you can get the centered dual exhaust tip as an option. I\'m sure with a little help, that car can handle really well.

Agreed, I like the Yaris/Echo, best car out there for the money IMO.

its an economy car, most ppl don\'t care to have power option and sunroof:p

but true, I still hate those center dash design.

The last family car we had was a 96 Civic 4 door sedan. It was an econo car with manual windows. And I hated it, I ran into so many instance where I wished I had power windows.

The two things I can\'t live without on an econo car, and I wish every econo box had these options are:

1. Keyless entry.
2. Power Windows.

My. $0.02.

I can live without the rest.

Like the re-design except the central guages. And pretty sure it\'s aftermarkte stuffs would out beat us

hrmmm the shape isnt attractive. But at least it has a bit more power than the echo hatch. However. I dont like the centre console deal. It doesen\'t look right.
