winter tires ??

hi everybody :)
winters coming up, and how many of u r planning on getting/ got winter tires for ur 3??

im a new driver... still have my g2 haha
so i wanted to know how bad is it driving w/out them with the 3 ??

ps. n wat size did u guys get ? (i have 17s now but wanted to get 16s to save a bit since the costs of books n school are killing me!!!)

yeahh,

most people got some winters. stock tires really really really suck. honestly i cant tell u how much they suck.

anyways get winters.

u can go to affiliates on this bored. and yess downsize to 16\f if u wanna save money. i redcommend tires23, got my witners and summers from them =D

just out of curosity, have anyone seen gold on a blue gt hatch ??
i kinna want to paint my stock rims gold (kinna like the sti).. hahaha n does anyone know where i can do that ??

i saw a orange gt w/ black stock rims at avante once...

I have goldish/bronze rims on my car. I had the OEM rims sandblasted, and powdercoated. If you search there are a couple threads on powdercoating if you want to go that route.

I got mine put on last weekend at Wheels Direct (http://www.wheels-direct.com/) just because the shop is closer to me at sheppard and mccowan.. the pics can be seen here (http://torontomazda3.com/forum/read.php?TID=3701&page=4).. if you want to call for a quote call them up at 416-754-0997 and ask for Cornel.. he\'s the guy I dealt with.. he may remember me.. tell him my name is Dave and I went in there last saturday morning with a friend with 2 mazda 3\'s.. he\'ll probably remember the latter part..

I had no problems at wheels direct (yet) but some ppl have had bad experiences.. I guess it\'s a hit or miss type of thing.. I paid $600 for 4 tires and rims with install.. they\'re 16\"..

Hi I am going to go to tires 23 however I am not sure which set of rims tires i should get ? What is good enough, I don\'t need anything fancy. I think I called and got 750 for tires / rims taxes in for the most \"popular\"

any other suggestions ?

You need to give more info. What size are your stock rims? Use the search feature it could be your best friend.;)
