HID Mal-function [Archive]

This morning, when I started my car, my HID weren\'t working. I tried turning them on/off and even restarting the car. For some odd reason they still do not light up. I don\'t know whether its the cold weather that caused this because I took my other car out yesterday so my 3 wasn\'t running the whole day. For the past six hours, I\'ve going to and from school, it still hasn\'t functioned properly.

I\'m currently running Xtec 6000k 50w Conversion kit and I\'ve only had them in for a little over a month and installed by Lockdown. Let me know if any of you guys have this problem.

Sounds like a connection/blown fuse probelm.

Off topic - but how does the 50W kit look? Is it significantly brighter than a 35W kit?

Thanks for the feedback guys. I have an appointment with Lockdown this coming Tuesday so thats when I\'ll ask Jeff.

I have never compared or seen them side by side, but I can say they are slightly brighter from the pictures I\'ve seen.
