I heard that Canada produces some of the worlds finest bacon. When I wake up on Sundays, I like to cook a hearty breakfast. When it comes to bacon I like to choose Decker brand Bacon, and or sausage. What makes Canadian bacon so unique??

Canadian bacon, as it\'s called, is \"peameal bacon\". Not even close to the common bacon.

yea, that bacon is hardly bacon looking. More like a piece of ham sandwich meat

When it comes to bacon, Im familiar with the thin crispy, with a tinge of hot grease taste to it.

Yum... Syrup with the Sausage... Good call.
3 eggs over easy, 4 sausages , 4 strips of bacon cooked medium, 4 slices of whole wheat toast and of course the hashbrowns......
Yummy... I\'m heading to the kitchen now! Time for Breaky:D
Try peameal on a burger.
Montana\'s has the \"Great Canadian Burger\" with peameal, cheese, bbq sauce.
It is Awesome.

Peameal Bacon is pretty much an Ontario specialty and is hard to find anywhere else
real \"canadian\" bacon does not have cornmeal on it and is classified as a ham
it\'s fully cooked cured/or smoked and peameal bacon is usually sold Raw.
