Anyone know of a good channel (minimal interference) to use for the FM transmitter in T.O?

I use mostly the channels closer to 88.1MHZ. I have a transmitter that allows you to scan useful channels that way I can manually tune my radio to find a spare channel and then tune the FM transmitter. Can you manually change the channels in you FM Transmitter ? If you can then try going a few MHZ above 88.1 and also 107.2

I got one of those manual FM transmitter recently and just started playing with the channels but still struggling with manual tuning on the car radio. Thanks for the tips on 88.3 and 107.2.
Also, I noticed that the gain is much better if I maxed volume my mp3 player vs max volume car volume.

Personally I\'m on the 89.9, I think I\'ll try 88.3 not sure if my transmitter goes that low it\'s a manual. But I have it wired to 4 batts (modded it) instead of 2 and went from 2AAA to 4AA it boosts the signal dramatically.
Most FM chips that are manual support up to 9V operational voltage.
I wouldn\'t mess with the ones with LCD displays though.

Tried 88.3 there\'s an annoying chinese channel at around dufferin and eglinton area, that completely drowns out my transmitter.
So I\'m sticking with 89.9 thus far so far haven\'t found a station using it in the T.O. area.
