Well folks.. Its happened. A dodge dakota thought it would be ok to run through a stop sign in a blind intersection. UNFORTUNATELY I just happened to be in this particular intersection at the wrong time going ~50km/h........

Lady was charged with failing to stop, its not my fault.. but I\'m still gonna get screwed because the resale of my car is now complete CRAP... O well *(&# happens EH! At least nobody was hurt!

I just hope Kieswetter in Kitchener can fix it up good enough, apparently they are a \"Rely\" shop... whatever that means. I don\'t want any problems down the road from this!

That really sucks man!

Doesn\'t look like a write off to me.

Hood, fenders, bumper, and both of the headlamps.

sorry to hear that, do you get hurt? I didn\'t see the airbags come off at the pics you show, so could be very minor. hope you\'re OK.

Normally the bags would deploy but it looks like most of the force of the hit was on the hood where there is no crash sensor.

That just saved him $1000.00 + in parts.

Hope you left a good impression on that Dakota!

This kinda stuff makes me so mad.
I\'m glad you\'re okay and the air bags didnt go off; thank goodness this is fixable.
I\'ve had a hit and run (not my fault) accident with close to $7000 in damages and honestly the car is good as new. I kept going back for about 6 months because little things kept coming up; but if its a realiable shop (which mine was) they will gaurantee their work for the life of the car. So once its fixed keep an eye out on the \'small\' things which can potentially turn into big things

thanks folks!

Yeah nobody was hurt which is a miracle, I hit the dakota right on the drivers side door. I could hear the girl screaming from inside my car once we stopped moving and I was sure she was hurt, although she was OK.. just not emotionally. PHEW!

Anyways; the airbags didn\'t go off which I guess is a good thing, means there wasnt enough energy in the impact to trigger them, so hopefully most of the damage is in cosmetic things like hoods fenders bumpers lights, rads etc etc. My insurance said they would be taking care of everything including my 1000 deductable and my rates wouldnt go up. I even have a sebring for the time my cars in the shop... but it sux!~

I want my 3 back lol!

P.S. O yeah that dakota will remember me for sure hehe...I taco\'d the side of it (if anybody here mountain bikes you will know what I mean)

when your insurance says that your policy won\'t go up make sure they are not using up your \"one time\". Some policies state yer first accident will not effect your policy (regarldess if it\'s YOUR FAULT OR NOT). so fight it if they r using up your \"one time\"!! that \"one time\" means a lot!

Looks like possibly rad+a/c as well - now\'s the time to make sure they put in a decent unit if you\'re having a/c problems :D

Glad you\'re alright.

My A/C does suck... but I thought that was a problem with all Mazda 3\'s A/C and wouldnt be fixed with a new unit?
