Colour Changes for 2007...

In a memo sent out today by Mazda Canada.

The following extior colours will be deleted from the Mazda3 / Mazda3 Sport and will longer be available for order as of the listed dates.

27A Velocity Red - Last Production Month April 2006
27B Winning Blue - Last Production Month April 2006
29Y Titanium Grey - Last Production Month April 2006
25E Indigo Blue Last - Produtcion Month March 2006
25D Snowflake White Pearl - Last Production Month March 2006

So if you have your heart set on one of these colours... Act before Februaryish.

The 2007 Model year colour palette will be announced when the 2007 specs are released..

*IMO this is not to say that these colours WON\\\'T be available on the 2007 but why would they announce this if they were going to be available ??

It kinda doesn\'t make sense though....some of those are the most sought after colours. Can\'t say I\'m sad to see the SFWP go though :)

lol.. that\'s so true.. the Ti Grey and White seem to be so popular.. it\'ll probably just be modified a bit so that they can give them new names.. cuz it\'s not like they\'re going to scrap the most common colors.. \"sorry folks, no more white on our cars.. we only have green and beige..\" :p

TheBiz, i have heard that the 07/08 mazda3 will have a refreshed look. A new look that the speed3 will carry late July/August...keep us updated! :)

So this means my Velocity Red will be even rarer and that the 3\'s accident rate will go down now that Winning Blue is gone

Titanium Gray is being replaced with Galaxy Gray (that\'s the name of it in most markets anyways, MCI may or may not give it a different name). The \'06 RX-8 also loses Titanium Gray and gains this colour. It\'s similar to Titanium Gray.

In regards to the blue, the Mazda5 colour that\'s called Phantom Blue Mica will be made available on the Mazda3. Mazda also has a new light blue for the Mazda3, which I assume is the Winning Blue replacement.

And yes, the Mazda3 is refreshened for \'07.

yes. (my mom has ordered and is waiting for the arrival of her 2006 galaxy grey civic :sarc
in my opinion, in some angles, it looks kinda greenish-brown, from the ones I\'ve seen on the road.... :zzz )

yes, it is a grayish/green-brown. But it looks good. The White Civics Si\'s look awsome. Sound sweet too.
