dont know if its posted already but letting everyone know that I went to get an oil change today and I made a comment about my squeeky brakes...

an hour later the guy in service told me that there was an updated version of the pads and replaced the front pads with the new ones and did a full service on the rear. i drive an 05.

was out tonight and to my surprise...no squeeking! it was great.

again i dont know if someone already posted but i thought id let all you know!

Were your pads squeaking all the time or just when you first started driving the car?

they were squeeking at the start when i would first drive the car....

but it wasnt a squeek like normal....it was the most annoying sound ever, sounded like a 30 year old car.

anyways again....left the car out at fairview tonight for a few hrs...came back and they were perfect........

i will keep updates as to the brake dust but they seem to be doing just great!

What was the part number for the front pads? Right now there is only updated rear pads and an update for the front coming soon.

yes!! no more squeaky breaks in the morning. sounded like a moaning moose even though i haven\'t heard one in my life.

no wonder the neighbors always look out the window thinking there\'s a wild catch outside their front lawn every morning :D :D :D

Can any of us who have squeaky brakes get the updated front and rear pads replaced under warranty?

I was really excited when I got my updated brake pads installed. There is almost no brake dust now but the brakes seem to squeak worse than ever! It is really annoying to hear this every morning!
