I\'m considering getting both of these items when I get my car in a few weeks. For those that have either of these items, do you find them useful?

The tray seems appealing because it will be easy to clean after I have dirty sports gear in the trunk (ie. baseball/golf shoes). The step plates seems appealing because I often put my hockey bag in the trunk, and when I pull it out, I just like to drag it out instead of lifting. Thus, my bumper would likely get scratched/scuffed.

IMO (but only IMO) the step plates look a little out of place.. so i had FX auto put clear bra on the REAR bumper where the plates would go..

find pix of bluntman\'s ride.. he has the step plates and they look nice on his orange.. but not on red

I have the step plates and I don\'t know what I\'d do without them. I would have scratches all over my rear bumper without them!

I think they look like they belong there!!

+1 for not feeling the look of the plates, but hey, to each his own.

I\'m not concerned at all with the look of the step plates. Function over form. :) How are they installed on the car?

I don\'t have step plates on my car, although I do have the cargo tray (I think Majic may have confused it with the Axela scuff plates that I have). After 2 seasons of loading and unloading my golf bag into the back of my hatch and after having swapped out my rims and tires every spring and winter, I (or the tire guys) haven\'t scratched up my rear bumper at all. The step plates don\'t look too bad, but I prefer the cleaner look without them. AFAIK, they are just stuck on with double sided tape.

not so hot on white.. i wouldn\'t put them on (or the clear bra) so that you could just drag your golf clubs on the bumper b/c it won\'t protect it all.. it\'s there \'just in case\' i guess for 26bux you can\'t go wrong.. if you don\' like them you just rip them off..

I\'m losing faith in the O Team...if I was ever to drive an orange hatch, I would only drive blunt\'s car.

Step plates don\'t look that good. If you want protection, go to FX Auto and get the clear protection on the bumper. :)

I put a thought in Xenons ear and he got them painted. Looks so much better and blend in.

So you gave him that crazy idea?:p

He should post up some pics.

If you haul a lot of gear around I would definately go with the step plates and the cargo tray.
