so last night i ran over a nail
and well, it went through the side wall of my
brand new (few months)
viking snowtechs
so, it is finished, i talked to Tires23
and Continental no longer has roadside hazard warranty
so, i will be buying a new one, unfortunately, they are popular tires
this year, and will take Martin a little while to track down
he will give me a progress report on monday
ah well, these things can happen, but it still sux to be out 100 bux!

With all the flat tires out there, you just got to wonder if some sick bastards is out there spreading nails on the road.:(

sorry to hear your problem man.:(
almost had that same problem. just 7 days after i got my 3, i already had a 4 inch nail sticking out. luckily they were able to fix it.
When swapping my all-seasons out for winters, found one of my tires (all-seasons) had a freakin SCREW plugged all the way between treads (on the face of the tire, which contacts the ground). Surprised there was no air loss.
Punctured tire still in my basement but will eventually take it to plug up.
Sorry to hear about this.
How is this a problem with the Mazda3?

I had the same thing happen, and Canadian Tire was able to just plug and seal the hole since it was a clean puncture. Good as new after.
Did you try to get the tire repaired yet by a 2nd party?
