I recently removed the tints from my car windows, now the windows (inside) looks like there is a think film of mist, which I guess, is the glue or whatever they used to bond the tint to the windows.
My question is, what can use to clean my windows (I tried Windex but to no avail.)
Thanks

would \'goo gone\' work?

why don\'t you try using windex and scraping the film with a razor blade? that\'s what i\'ve seen the professionals use. ;)

if you can find it, try acrysol...it\'s serious stuff (basically a solvent/de-greaser). You DO NOT want to get it on any of the interior plastics or anything else but the glass (and it\'s very viscous so it moves fast!) but it will definitely remove the adhesive residue.
Oh and DO NOT breathe this stuff in either...work with plenty of ventilation. Try it on an inconspicuous spot on your windows first. I used it once before on glass to remove adhesive left behind by stickers - it worked great.

Yes, use the water-based stuff,it will work and is safe to breath.

I would still be \'cautious\' with goo-gone though.....try not to get it onto anything except the windows. Worst case why not consult a tinting shop, I\'m sure they can either do it or recommend you something that will.

Thanks everyone for your help. Looks like nothing works. I will take my car to the guys who did the tint job and find out if there is something they or I can use to remove the sticky stuff.

if you refer back my latest mod (http://torontomazda3.com/forum/read.php?TID=3791#67892) goo gone (as junior mentioned) sucked ass but paint thinner (brush/roller cleaner) worked wonders.. if it\'s safe on plastic i would assume it would be kickass on glass .. test a small area b4 just to be sure.. good luck (maybe you can avoid a trip to the tint guys)
