View Full Version : If you had to live in the U.S., where would you go?

If you had to leave Canada and live in the Unites States, which city/state would you move to? Try and keep it realistic based on finding work, cost of living, etc.

BTW, I\'m not leaving or anything, just a hypothetical question :)

As for me, I have no idea.....Chicago perhaps, but if I were moving I\'d try and avoid the cold weather. I\'d love Hawaii, but it\'s too expensive and too far from family to be a realistic choice.

probably anything southwest....arizona maybe...lots of IT work and a nice climate :p

San Francisco bay area. Although I may actually be moving there in April, so I am biased.

Well I got my social security still so I can still get a job stateside. I would have to say Hawaii because it\'s where I want to move to when I retire so might as well live there now.

This is a goal within my near future.
Most likely near or in Orange County, CALIFORNIA (Huntington Beach, Irvine, Laguna Beach, Santa Ana or Mission Viejo) :)

Although I really don\'t like anything about the US, I\'d have to agree with SFW, the Bay Area is a really nice place with a little something for everyone. It reminds me a lot of Vancouver, a hip urban area that not too far from \"the great outdoors\".
