Hi! Everybody...
I\'m living in Montreal.
I just bought a 2006 mazda 3 sport GT two weeks ago.
I want to ask where and how can I add the turbo kit.
Coz someone tell me we can add the turbo kit and can goes to 300hp.
I don\'t know is true or not,
if yes, I want to know what is that turbo kit and where can I get it.
thanks everybody.

Why would you want to void your warranty and spend $5K+ doing it? You should\'ve just waited it out for the Mazdaspeed3.

Thx! Everybody....
But is it too late for me to wait for the mazdaspeed 3?
And if I add the turbo am I really void my warranty?
Can I refund the Car, like I buy stuff in Wal Kart have refund for it?
Coz this is my first car under my name....

Sorry to say, but if you\'re asking questions like these, an aftermarket turbo is not for you.

Here\'s my thought
If any of the speculation is true, Mazdaspeed 3\'s DISI motor will be very hard to modify. First being direct injection which will have very high pressure injectors. The cost associated with modifying these types of engines doesn\'t justify the performance gains you\'ll be getting.
Other important factor is that with the regular MZR engine, you\'ll be able to pick and choose the parts you want to include in the overall build. The end result, I believe will much more satisfying and you\'ll end up with an engine that is much more powerfull then Mazdaspeed 3\'s

I suggest you forget the turbo and spend the money to learn English.

True, but you still have the all important voided warranty issue, not to mention the fact that when the time comes to sell the car you may have other expenses/issues like having to buy another oil pan cause you had to tap the stock one for the oil return lines. There\'s labor involved in having to remove the kit, and there\'s always the possibility of improper tuning and blowing the motor.

Sorry to thread jack, but i seem to remember seeing a \"warning\" system on one forum. Posters get a set number of warnings and if they continue they are banned. It\'s all very well slapping peoples hands and quoting the forum rules, but it\'s kinda pointless if we don\'t back it up with something.
Just my 2c, I\'m not saying that maxRPM was deliberatley trying to be offensive, but for some, it can be enough to deter them from further participation in our forum. :)

why do the mods pick on MaxRPM? first it was the vette crash pic and now this...
\"learn English\" is a far cry from the racist terms that Marcelino posts ... calling someone a paki, publically stating that he named his car ******II, etc, etc...but was Marcelino given his \"Miranda Rights\"? no....
like i said in the past, if you\'re going to \"moderate\" one person over something like this (when it happens on other threads in the board, whether joking or not), you have to paint everyone with the same brush.
bluntman
02-16-2006, 10:14 AM
I agree, mods have to paint everyone with a single brush, but mods also need the power to ban IPs and have unlimited PMs. Also, mods need more time to peruse all of the recent threads, and with one less mod on the forums, the remaining mods simply don\'t have the time to do so. I don\'t have a PC in front of me all of time, the only time I can check the forums is during my lunch and/break which I assume goes for the other mods.
Let\'s face it, this place is broken and there\'s really no one here that has the power to fix it. The lunatics are running the asylum! :D

Since one mod is MIA why not appoint another one (majic gets my vote if he\'d do it). It\'s not gonna fix all the boards problems but it will surely help.
RedRaptor
02-16-2006, 11:03 AM
I concur. Let\'s appoint a few other moderators. This place is growing and it is too much work for one to two mods to do clean this place up. Appointing two new moderators would really help. Majic gets my vote for one of them as well.

Guys,
*read with a hint of sarcasm
Everything is going to change big time! The entire mod/admin committee are going to meet soon to talk about roles etc. (too bad some of them dont seem th know about it... makes you wonder how soon this is planned for) The positions are going to be voted on.
I spoke to Xenon about this, and he mentioned he wanted to step dont last year but wasn\'t allowed to since no one wanted his title. He said that he is busy, and has been viewing posts, just not replying due to time....
Hopefully some of this is true and it will be fixed soon. He is going to talk to TM3.... who has been even more MIA, even since day 1.
oh well, just a friendly update

Bluntgirl, errr I mean Man. As Neil said, how does Rule 1 apply to what I wrote? I may have been blunt (no pun intended) but certainly not racist. Offensive? Please, I find fat chicks and country music offensive but I don\'t go off on a wild tangent, but then again I\'m not a \"Global Moderator\". There are plenty of examples of \"rule\" breakers on this board and nothing is done about it. Either do it right or don\'t do it at all otherwise there is no point in having rules.
I don\'t care if he is French Canadian. It\'s no excuse for a poorly written sentence, even the French have proper sentence structure that I am sure he is more then capable of. It was not a typo or bad grammar (which I see a lot of on this board) it was just crap and it hurt my head to read it so I called him on it.
Carry on...

That\'s the whole problem, no one cares. No one cares about whom they offend, no one cares what they write, no one cares to read the rules of the forums, no one cares to read the ULEA when they buy a piece of software. There has to be a point when someone says enough is enough. Anyone can hide behind this \"veil of anonymity\" that the internet grants us, but that still doesn\'t exclude us from showing each other a little respect whether or not you like what the person above you has posted. We\'re all equal, from moderator to newbie, and it\'s all in how we treat each other (how we act, what we post, etc.) that will either make or break this place.
You know what? I\'ve had enough too. This is my final post in TM3. I just want to thank all of the original TM3 members for the great time I\'ve had.

Arthur,
This is nothing. If you want to see a board in total shambles, go check out www.onpoc.ca. I was a founding member there also, and its sad to see it go almost. There is a thread in the GENERAL LOUNGE that outlines some issues. There are MANY more I didnt bring up.
My point is, your stuck in a tought spot (along with Joe). You guys are expected to keep the peace and do all the admin/mod stuff, but without the tools. Unitl TM3 gets off his ass, and has anything to do with this club, its gunna contimue to slide.
Would hate to see you go man :)

i see where he\'s coming from.. and i\'ve been there and done that unfortunately.. and that was before the \'flaming\' \'yo mammas\' and more immature clientele came on here..
i left .. for a week.. i came back b/c i had time and wanted to help people if i could.. i post less and less (if you can believe that) anyway, i don\'t really remember what the deal was but things have regressed with TM3/Xenon not being around to fullfill a lot of our request.. and we can\'t continue to have 2 mods for 50ppl and now almost 1500ppl..
Arthur, i hope you change your mind and come back.. maybe we need to look at ways of reviving this club, bringing it back to what it used to be and building on that; making more out of it than what it is now - just a forum..

crap - there\'s nothing much left on this board - no ideas, no passion and alot of noise.
I concur that rogue posts with racism/slurs/innuendos and hate should be monitored and deleted with repeat offenders banned from posting. A suspect post on this particular thread seems to have come from someone who doesn\'t even own a Mazda 3, yet takes liberty to dump on a fellow owner. And Geico can\'t save me anything on my car insurance:(

If you\'re referring to MaxRPM, he does indeed own a 3 - save your suspicions for another day.
Let\'s face it, this forum, in terms of an \"enthusiast\" forum is shit. A lot of the founding members have left for a variety of reasons ranging from: being too busy; to the immaturity of the forum members (not surprising considering this is priced as an \"entry-level\" car); to the one heard most often \"invisible leadership\".
As well, Bluntman, we\'ve talked in the past and you\'re a cool guy but, if you\'re gonna leave the forum, leave quietly. I don\'t understand why people storm out in a hissy fit as if they\'re waiting to hear everyone say \"please don\'t go, come back, the world can\'t go on without you\" whaaaaaaaaa (artie lang on stern). ****, if I were like that, I would\'ve ditched this forum a loooong time ago; since I posted several how-tos in the beginning of this forum only to have them fall by the wayside - MANY of which weren\'t even stickied. Who cares? I don\'t nor have I.
Also, let\'s face it, this is an English language forum; if your english isn\'t good enough, don\'t be surprised when you\'re called on that fact. WUD was flamed hard on the Quebec mazda3 forum for posting in english with shitty french skills. So, before people go on a pedestal and preach the good of the Lord/Allah/Buddha or whatever diety strikes your fancy, check yourself before you wreck yourself because, in almost all cases, whether on the forum or outside of it, you\'re a pot calling the kettle black.

I agree... enthusiast is a tough term, I have never been on a board where so MANY people are affraid, or think its a big deal to paint their calipers, install an intake, or slap on an AXELA badge.
I know we all have to learn, but these are not hard things. Your painting a piece of metal, using minor tools, or sticking something to metal:sarc
