I bought a jug of Engine Coolant at Prima Mazda in Woodbridge. When I opened up the bottle I noticed that it was a gold/yellow colour...My car has green engine coolant...
Did they sell me the wrong one..The instructions say to mix it with distilled water at a 50/50 ratio.
Is this the correct engine coolant to use?
Thanks
Vito:)

see if it says for any colour coolant. If it doesnt say somewhere you can mix it with any colour then its wrong. Buy the penzoil one it says specifically you can mix it with anything and its 50/50

is the box branded \"Mazda Approved\" or something to that effect? If so, it is fine.
Any aluminium-safe coolant should be good as well.
A 50/50 ratio is the recommended mix and use distilled water...regular tap water can be used in an \"emergency\" but it is not recommended since it contains metals and minerals that can either 1) cause corrosion inside the radiator or 2) clog the channels inside the radiator.
