Erin Mills Mazda

ok, i was at the auto show, and i was checking out the mazdaspeed6
when one of the sales reps approached me, we began talking, and i mentioned
that i was a member of the toronto mazda3 club.

i know he was a salesman, but he seemed to indicate that the owner of erin mills mazda,
was interested in progressive ideas, and might be interested in providing a discount to
toronto mazda3 memebers,

i am not sure if erin mills mazda was contacted before, and was not intersted in affiliation
but, this guy was interested

i told him, good service and good deals is all that we look for in a dealer

i am aware that erin mills mazda has not recieved positive feedback here, i didn\'t mention
it to him, but regardless, i told him about the site, and gave him my contact info
and he gave me his!

i left his card in my car unfortunately,

regardless of the past, another dealer at a discount rate is not a bad idea, i will post up his
contact info tommorow

and leave it up to discussion to decide whether we should contact him, or not!

so what do you think . . . ?

Just now they decide to do discounts on torontomazda3.com members....BS

I have left erin mills mazda and gone to westowne.

They treat you with concern better service and quality assurance.

Just my 2 cents, but I trust the guys at westowne more.

They give me the discount automatically without even mentioning im from the club.... I guess thats how a family owned business is...They remember you when you see them.

At first I was uneasy to see new faces today when I got my service but, they are great people. They make sure your happy before you leave the dealership.

For the record:

Speaking as the Former Events & Promo Co-Ordinator, Erin Mills Mazda was originally planned to be a part of our Dealer Affiliate Programme. However, due to overwhelming negative reviews by members, we decided to exclude that Dealership. I do believe there is actually a Hate thread for Erin Mills Mazda somewhere.

I personally bought my car from Erin Mills Mazda. When they tried to screw me out of my free oil change (Was a part of the deal when purchasing my car) and when they performed my 8,000 KM incorrectly, I personally decided to disown that dealership.

On an unrelated ramble, the following dealerships in that area were also requested to join the affiliation, but the decided not to:

Oakville Mazda
Burlington Mazda

There were also a few around the GTA that were asked to join the programme but didn\'t.

and to be honest i am happy with westowne, and i will continue to go there!
(though i have to mention my TM3 affiliation everytime i go there, despite the stickers on my
car, lol)

also note that he is a salesman, and not necessarly representative of the dealership
he seemed like a nice guy

dealerships can change, but i don\'t know that erin mills did have a change

i hvn\'t had a bad experence at erin mills yet.. :)
they were pretty quick with the shifting reprogramming... i just went in.. told them what the problem is.. and they fixed it without asking any questoins.

n they gave me a bottle windshield washer fluid 4 free

If you guys recall there is a new service manager there. He actually introduced himself here on the boards.

I personally know him and can vouch that he is a good guy. He wants to definitely improve the horrible rep that Erin Mills service has received in the past.

His name is Jerry and I am sure he will try to make the visit pleasant.

Erin Mills will have to slowly gain the trust and build their rep back up.

Back on topic though.. I can ask Jerry if he thinks they would be interested in becoming an affiliate...

they are actually better in service now... would be cool if we get discount there.

I know from previous services there, i hate them lol but i still go there since its around teh corner from my house
