Russian mazd3-club needs your help

Hello everyone...

We are a small community of mazda3 fans from Moscow, Russia. I was wondering if any of you guys could help us out here.
Here in Moscow we don\'t have a big choice of products when it comes to tuning our mazdas... But nevertheless we are still trying and working our way around all the difficulties in getting cool stuff for our mazdas.

Here\'s something I wanted \"you\" to help me with:

- any of you know the UIN number for your clear rear fog light for mazda3 s hatchback? Does it come as a separate piece or do you have to order it with the rear lights?
- where can we order a Mazdaspeed or TWM short-shifter kit with delivery to Russia?
- is there any hood lifts (ammo type) for a hacthback?

Unfortunately we do not get the rear fog light in Canada.......it is available on eBay however. Maybe contact the seller and see if he/she can provide you with the part number (or better yet, if they are willing to ship to you). I believe the same seller also has some hood lifts, but I\'m not positive about that.....better to check. As for the TWM shifter, have you tried contacting them. They might be inclined to ship to Russia if there are enough units to make it worthwhile.

PSIVIC, he is looking for the \"clear\" rear foglight. All the euro spec cars get the red rear foglight on the driver side. He wants the clean look and is asking for the part # to just the clear rear foglight. He probably wants the stealth look during the day and he will swap the clear bulb to a red bulb so that he still has rear foglight capabilities.

Unfortunately, the rear reverse lights are sold as a pair here in North America. Joe, can you confirm this? :)

Red, the one on eBay being sold by \'nabobery\' is in fact a factory clear rear foglight!

No way!!! We\'re gonna win today... I put a couple of bucks on the game and I\'m planning on getting more back!

I\'m searching through the e-bay myself... but so far I hven\'t found much... I can see the product, but no part number... You see I need a part nember so my dealer could order the rear fog for the US. Even if it comes along in a pair with the rear light, it would be good enough for me... I\'m willing to pay that for the good old stealthy look. That filled in red fog looks totally CRAP with our LED lights...

You don\'t like the rear red foglight? I saw an Audi A4 with its rear red foglight turned out on the 401 last night. All this time I thought it was an electrical malfunction until I educated myself on rear foglights last week. I can say one thing, it really works as it gives the drivers behind you better judgement of how far your car is.

as many have said, the \'clear fog lights\' on North American cars are just regular reverse lights.. if you had a sedan i know a few peeps who actually want that fog light here so you could swap but since you don\'t i gave Joe (FLIPSPEED) a ring and the part number (for LEFT reverse light) is

i agree on both accounts, it\'s annoying b/c it makes you think their rear lights are broken but it is also much brighter and makes the car that much more visible!

Majic, the part # you got is just for a clear tail is it not. It is my understanding that AndreMalone wants the rear foglight.

yeah.. it is for the North American REVERSE (left) light.. AFAIK, the rear fog lights are red and i haven\'t seen a white one (not a fog light).. I would assume that the fog lightbulb is higher wattage, so if he uses the existing harness with a red high wattage bulb and USDM housing he\'ll have the \'stealth\' look and functionality of a fog ligh n\'est pas?

I want a part number for the left reverse light or left rear fog light! But I want it CLEAR... even if it\'s a reverse light... I\'ll be happy to install the clear casing and put my stock fog stuffing with a different red bulb! )))

In that case I\'ll still get what I want - I\'ll get a totally \"clear\" ass...:)

There is no difference in functionality of the Red or Clear rear light (let\'s call it that so we don\'t get confused). Its all how your car is wired up. In Euro Spec, the left reverse light is wired to their foglight switch on the signals stalk. In US-CAN spec, its wired up to the reverse lights. Granted the bulb for the Red light is probably brigther than the bulb for a Clear light.

A lot of Euro peeps on M3F have gotten the Clear light but still leave it wired to the foglight switch. They replace the bulb with a Red one to have the functionality of rear fog, but stealth of reverse. :)
