As the title suggests .. I just had my wisdom teeth taken out :( OUCH ! My dentist pulled them out and I was awake the entire time --- big mistake there . Word of advice to anyone getting thiers done, Go to a oral surgeon and get \"put under\" !!!
I am running out of stuff to eat and was wondering if you guys had any suggestions . So far I\'ve been eating
mashed potatoes
congee
jello
soup --- all kinds, im pretty much tired of soup in general

ice cream
Smoothies...strain them so theres no seeds. They\'re the best and quite filling if you ask me. Had mine pulled about 6 weeks ago or so and I lived off them.

damn you !!!!
I tried the some fruit shakes for dinner as meth suggested and it was filling at first ... but got hungry about 2 hours later (probably becuase the lack of oil/fat/grease/whatever you want to call it). Im wondering if i should just drink my workout protein shake stuff, but i know if i dont work out after those i will get fat for sure !
hrrmmmm, i wonder what im going to eat at work tmr ...

I had one of my adult teeth pulled awhile back, because of crowding. The dentist really got on my chest and pulled hard, took him awhile to pulled it off. Funny it didn\'t hurt at all.
Try baby food for awhile. :D

I know this doesn\'t help, but ....
All 4 of my wisdom teeth came out straight. At first it was painful cause they were trying to get thru the gums. But after a couple of years, all 4 of them emerged.
So how come with all my wisdom teeth, I still don\'t have any wisdom? :sarc

Hell yeah, the gas is the way to go. My extraction was straight-forward, and I was eating solid food the same night. Very carefully ofcourse...
If you have a good blender add some cooked oatmeal to your smoothie. I know this sounds weird but the full grains from the oatmeal will make you feel full much longer (taken from the Abs Diet).

I was put under with gas as well. I was not able to eat solids the same night but by the weekend I went camping and was hammered off a combo of one beer and pain killers.
It really depends on the severity of your wisdom teeth... if they grew normally and you had room in your jaw for them they could be extracted like normal teeth (less painful and whatnot) but if they are impacted and growing sideways and whatnot... that requires them to cut into the gum = more painful obviously.
