hey guys, just wondering if anybody know\'s if there are any carbon fiber hoods that are available for our cars or any place that can make them in toronto or even in canada? i\'ve searched and found some places down in the states that do, but the problem is the price is ridiculous to ship it over here.

Price is crazy to ship it inside canada too!!!

There is a post here about someone doing some CF hoods

Search my friend or.... If you flipped to Page 2 you would have seen the post

Find an honest shipper and you should be fine. I sell ViS products, and a budy just bought a CF Hood for his PGT off me, and shipping was $100 from BC. If ViS made one for the MZ3, I could get it, but so far no luck.

Crazy Caker from the TOP Boards posted about making some, but not enough interest :(

I would be interested, depending on a few things. I hear his Protege hoods have great reviews. Issue is that he needs a hood to mould for a few weeks.

is there any fading issue ?

I heard that some of the CF hoods fade over time .. or maybe these are just the cheap ones ?

As far as I know.. ALL CF hoods will fade... Some just Faster than others

im debating to ante up a hood for the sedan....gonna check the scrapyards see if there is any hoods i can ggrab for a decent price....then talk with the TOP member who had the GB before...lets hope the hood isn\'t too expensive..
