this is precisely why i didn\'t even want to bother with a response..

it\'s ALL in how you spin your \'facts\' and the half truths.. it\'s easy to source biased sources (or just ONE) but unfortunately that doesn\'t prove that you\'re right.. credible sources would certainly help

i still use ffox for a number of reasons..

1) IN PRACTICE it is much faster at loading sites (and i\'m talking stock for stock and it BLOWS IE away with performance fox extension ;)
2) ffox and the whole mozilla foundation are creative and innovative.. M$ copied their tabs (or opera\'s or whoever came up with it) same with extensions.. there aren\'t nearly as many for IE than there are for ffox
3) OS integration - M$ has had a pretty bad record of security voulnerabilities and issues.. (and not patching them in time) granted yes, THEY WILL BE TARGETED since they own a substantial share of the market (which is slowly decreasing btw) but that should be THAT MUCH more incentive to patch up the vulnerabilities..
4) i can\'t live without all the extensions ;)
5) you can have multiple profiles on one windows account (unless there\'s a way of doing that with IE) which is cool b/c a lot of people use just one windows account ..

anyway.. i don\'t need to convince you to use it.. just try and you\'ll never go back.. ;) :D

I love Firefox and the Ad-ons you can download. My favorite has to be the \"Abe Vigoda Status\" ad-on.

i just thought it was an interesting read, of course I don\'t believe everything that is said in the article I posted. I guess I should of worded my first post differently.

I actually don\'t notice a speed difference between FireFox (without the plugin Majic talked about) and IE. However, Opera is the slowest at rending a site out of the 3. I tried Opera, and its pretty disappointing. Opera is pretty hard to use if your FireFox and/or IE user, such as myself. Takes ages to turn Opera\'s interface to match FireFox.

I just don\'t like how FireFox sometimes doesn\'t render a site properly cause the site is optimized for IE.

majic the performance fox plugin you were talking about, is it this one?

gonna try it out if it is.
