Hello everybody,
I recently purchased the LGL HID kit. For some odd reason it did not come with an installation mannual so i am here to see if anybody knows where i can find it because i have looked at LGL\'s website and they do not have it posted there anywhere. I have checked google and found diddly squat and checked the mazda 3 forums but everybody has either prolumen or xtech kits but mine is LGL.
anybody have a slight clue?

Thank you very much in advanced

I forgot to mention that i have contacted the seller and he has not contacted me back about the situation

Check the How To Section for install instructions. I\'m pretty sure these kits are very similar in the way they are installed.

i have checked that but the kit is completely different because i dont have a wiring diagram of my kit and i have a couple of unexplained connectors aswell as no connectors that would fit my car wires

LOCKDOWN (http://www.lockdownsecurity.ca/) Can Help You.

They can do a professional install for a great price. Give them a call. Last thing you want to do is start splicing unknown wires everywhere.

Judging from the looks of the kit , it looks very similar to the prolumen one .
Do you guys think its possible for him to follow the instructions for that kit ?

I guess you could always go to Lockdown to have them installed ... I got mine installed there. Their service is good and I, but if i had to do it again, I think i would save my money and just do the install myself.

EDIT: removed the original quote with all the pics

2 ways of installing this kit by looking at it:

1) this way will involve you having to turn the headlight switch to ON each time you drive the car

http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a190/bmw_racing/CIMG1128.jpg
the 2 spade connectors plug into the stock headlight harness...red to +ve and black to -ve.. the white connector plugs into...

http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a190/bmw_racing/CIMG1127.jpg
the white connector going into the ballast. and the other connectors plug into the blue and red wires on bulb.

2) it looks like the kit comes with a relay, this way is a bit more involved

http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a190/bmw_racing/CIMG1128.jpg
the black wire of the spade connector goes to the -ve connector in the OEM headlight harness. following this how-to (http://www.bozzak.com/mazda/viewtopic.php?t=11), tap into the orange/blue wire of the parking/turn signal harness (choose the driver\'s side since it is closest to the battery, which is where you\'ll have to attach the other parts of the relay) and plug the RED wire spade connector into the tapped wire. then connect the white connector to....

http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a190/bmw_racing/CIMG1124.jpg
the middle connector in this pic. this is the switched input of the relay. judging by the bundled pic, you should only have to do one tap. connect the ring terminal of the black wire to the battery negative (or a body ground), and connect the ring terminal of the red wire to the battery positive (do this last if possible). the red wire should be fused (i can\'t tell from that pic - take a better pic of that unfolded). plug the outer 2 white connectors to...

http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a190/bmw_racing/CIMG1127.jpg
the ballast\'s white connectors...

** this will turn your DRL\'s off and your HIDs will go on when you turn the parking lights on **

these steps were based on your pics, i don\'t have the kit...attempt the install based on what i wrote at your own discretion. i am not responsible for anything that may go wrong with the installation.

That is an amazing write up. I will give this a shot tomorrow and yes the red wire does have a 30amp fuse in it. Thanks so much to everyone

Sad part is as good as MBN has been helping out on TM3, no one mentioned his name in the \"Who Do You Want To Meet?\" thread.;)
