the only thing i know about the gt is that it had a control arm recall (to weak or soem shit)

hope your friends is newer and has this problem fixed (to my knowledge it wasent fixable at the time besides replacing the broken with a new one which would brake again)

He is not going to put a front plate on it. The 755 is the build number, 755 of 2000 I believe.

I Agree. It\'s a nice looking Retro car. But way overpriced. It\'s a Ford for god sake!!!
It\'s not a Lambo or Ferrari. It\'s a P.O.S Ford.

Very nice car, never seen it in white before.....looks saucy! I personally would never have purchased it thought as I believe it to be too much coin, plus after that recall where Ford had to tell people that they just spent $250K (or whatever) on a car that is potentially so dangerous that they should refrain from driving them.......well, you get the idea.

Is this really your buddy\'s car? It is still at the dealship with no plates and the protective film is still on it, it could just be a car ready for delivery to anyone. If it is good for them, it will turn some heads.

These are some of his previous cars: Saleen S351, SL5000 and Viper Venom. I got a call to com see it 30 minutes after it arrived at the dealership hence why it still had all the plastic on it. I will see if I can try to convince him to come to one of the meets.

Why is the speedo in MPH? if indeed your friend lives in Canada and bought this car... and the selling dealer is in richmond hill... the speedo, by law, has to be in KM/H.

I used to have a US Civic, the speedo was in MPH, I never had any problems.....admittedly I bought it used, but I can\'t see that that makes a differnce, right?

If it was a US civic, made for the US market, of course the speedo is in MPH. What I\'m trying to say is if the Ford GT was made for a canadian dealership to sell toa Canadian buyer, the speedo should be in KM/H.

THe only way it can\'t be KM/H is if it is a US spec car, made for US market and imported to canada

I\'m no expert but here it goes...
In terms of the engine I think you are right that the block is Ford. But have you worked on your Mazda3 often? FoMoCo is stamped on so many parts other than just the block. I\'m not a big fan of Ford but you gotta admit...our Mazda3 does have Ford in its veins.

That would be the Mitsu EVO . But i am pretty sure thats the reason why Canada doesnt get alot of cars . Saftey issues and the fact that no one will buy them (except the EVO) , there is just no market for these kind of cars in canada
