Hey guys!

I\'ve been lurking through your forums for months now after getting my 06 in November. Most of your cars make me drool with all the nice mods. I\'ve never really got into moding much on my previous cars mainly because they weren\'t mine. But now I have car of my own and it\'s time to swap some parts. I have about zero mechanical knowledge so I\'ve been relying on your \"how to\'s\" to lead me in the right direction.

After completing a successful intake install I\'ve chosen for my second project a HID kit from Prolumen. But after getting the kit and seeing how big the ballast and igniters are I\'m kinda stumped where to mount them. I\'ve read through some posts and did some searches but I rarely see any pictures of where people mounted the Prolumen kit ballasts etc. I was wondering if anyone might have a link to a picture showing where they mounted their prolumen kit. I\'ve had it since Christmas and every time I look at it I swear it\'s laughing at me while it collects dust. Hell, I\'d take a good majoogle right about now if I could get them off the shelf and in the car :p

PS: For those that have a prolumen kit did you use the fuses that came with the kit?

most of the time you cannot see them b/c people like to make the install \'stealthy\' or if done by lockdown or any other shop, professional.. if you click on the link in my sig you\'kk see where i mounted my ballasts.. granted, it\'s not the PRETTIEST solution but it works and it\'s tucked away from moisture.. YOU will still need to deal with the placement of the ignitors but maybe if you can place them adjacent to the ballasts..

i didn\'t use any fuses as there were none in my kit.. i did go buy a relay from canadian tire.. that\'s about it..

EDIT: after a while, i decided to use some industrial strength velcro and tape down the driver\'s side ballast onto the battery cover/box, sits tight and looks nice :) when i go for coffee around 10:30 i can post some pix (if i remember)

EDIT2: here are the pix

if you have a sedan, you can tuck the ballast in the fenders and mount the ignitor just behind the headlight assy. theres a flat surface there.

Mounted mine under the front crossbar, over the rad.
Outta sight, No issues so far. Been there since October.

I tucked the two ballasts where eguiyab did.
I put the ignitors where majic put his ballasts.
Is there a better please to put the ignitors? I want to put the stock cover on the driver side back on.

The cover that is above the driver side headlights.
