The original black o-ring Vs. the New green one. I guess they never changed it. Why would they, I paid for it. The big green one on the inside pretty much fell off, the new one was a snug fit to get on. That was problably never changed either.

The New drain plug washer is slighter thinner and has a larger inner diameter. The old one has a ridge on it and slight cracking from being loosened and tightened 5/6 times. That has never been changed either.

And the BEST. Some nice goo on my dipstick.
Close to 6oookm on this oil.

edit: continued...(had to change poopey diaper...anyway)

Jacked up only one side of the car (left). Removed lower plastic cover completly, easier to get at filter and plug.
The cheap ass filter wrench I bought at wal-mart cracked around the hole where you insert the rachet.(Glad it rang up as $0.50 when she scanned it:p) Had to dig around the basement to find an adjustable wrench to use. It was pretty smooth sailing after that..Drain, clean plug and filter cap,re-install and fill up....
Car runs/idles smoother and a little quieter, my exhuast note at idle sounds a little different.

Now what happens that I found moisture in my oil?????
Is that from filter cap leaking? Or the crap oil from the dealer?
I will do some regular checks to see whats on the stick... maybe send off a oil sample to blackstone in a few weeks to get a analysis.
Wouldn\'t it be great if it was coolant. Maybe I can get a new engine:)

so glad my buddy does the oil change for me all the time as i annoy him with questions :p he replaces BOTH O-rings each time (even though he says you don\'t rreeaally need to replace the small one every time) and the washer (says it could last a few changes but since i get a new one each time might as well)

If you\'re sure that its not coolant, then could it possibly be a faulty PVC valve??? I know that the dealers use that bulk oil crap, but even that oil shouldn\'t produce what came out of your car. Try using Mobile 1 0W20. I bit on the expensive side (approx. $7/L) but alot better than you ordinary conventional oils!!!!!!

Just my $0.02 worth.
