European Civic Type-R Concept

Was going through the TopGear site last night when I came across this article on the new Civic Type-R concept. I\'ve said it once and I will say it again, I wish Canada had access to some of the European models.

i read in the article that they want to use the 2.0L engine again in Europe, so do you think they might upgrade engine size here or keep it the same?

Overall the car looks alright....still loving the 3 tho :D

I don\'t think this hatch model is even coming to North America. This concept is based on the hatch model currently in Europe. The civic design in North America is completely different and if they decided to offer a hatch in it then it would more likely reflect the current styling of the Honda Civic coupe or sedan(North American).

I\'m not impressed with the look of the new Civic sedan and coupe. But that\'s just my opinion. Even the hatch model in Europe would stand out as too radical against the current civic coupe and sedan.

A much better design execution overall than the North American model. The interior dash design on the euro car was largely carried over. I have mixed feelings regarding the instrument positioning, I think Mazda got it right on the 3.

I love the yellow paint on the Type R - should make it into production - no casual \"concept\".
Our sedan model is attractive amd way better than the previous design.

I saw one of those civics in England and it was better looking in person. Still very odd but didn\'t seem as bad as all the pictures I have seen.

the del sol is another ugly civic. honestly i dunno how people could call the generation before the current, SLK, girlie yet like this car =S

lol my cousin, or whatever my step-moms brother is,owned one. are the rear windows prone to breaking? his, and alot of other delsols i see have the window down or hung up somehow (screwed, bolted, and taped)

I would love to own a Del Sol as a project car......that or a Miata. When my wife and I have the garage space I want to buy a beat up old Miata or Del Sol and spend my summers restoring it and modding it.

Yeah A delsol SI is a nice cruising car for summer. I love the fact that the roof comes off.
