Official Cruise and BBQ #1

Ok, i started a new thread,
1. to get rid of the poll
2. when it is official it gets the people going!

Saturday May 20th
3 PM
Cruise Starting Point: Long Branch Go Station
(i will get a map up tomorrow)

Route
1. exit long branch Go Station
2. East to Browns line
3. north to evans
4. west to QEW hamilton
5. exit mississauga road (is it north?)
6. Cruise down mississauga Rd until belfountain (little town)
7. Break, for bathroom, a few photos, and some refreshment at the local store
8. now the fun part . . .
9. Off to the Forks of the Credit Road
10. until HWY 10, find some place to turn around and then come back towards belfountain
11. (u guys who haven\'t been here, will like this part, u may want to do it again!!! :P)
12. Then i was thinking we would head up that street towards the provinical park and have a bbq there, or there is that place right beside the icecream shop in belfountain, maybe we could do it there? (that is still to be decided, i will contact the locations)


Food to be purchased...
burgers
burger buns
hot dogs
hot dog buns
chips
salads - potato, macaroni or garden
fruits
condiments - ketchup, mustard, relish, cheese, lettuce, tomato
paper plates
cutlery
drinks - pop, water, some sort of juice (lemonade, iced tea, apple or orange)

* hard to accomodate for veggetarians but if you are one post up and we will try and do something for yah.

specialty things should be brought on their own!
ie if someone wants other drinks, or veggie burgers or dogs, or chicken

Remember if u want other drinks, this is a cruise, so be responsible!


Cost
I or a few members and I will front the money for the food, and there will be a small cost
to cover everything

$5 per car with one person
$10 per car with two or more people

I can bring a big bag of coal. Its been sitting in my garage for quite some time.

2) can you do the entire route on a map (ie. streets and trips)
3) I can bring a BBQ (no extra charcoal needed) if i come
4) IMO, the cost per car/person is nice BUT unless you give a \'food/drink/fruit/snack\' ticket to each person that\'s paying, this will turn into AYCE event :D

belfountain is a beautiful place, its haunted but beautiful. Great ice cream place there too. with lots of hilly roads (be careful lots of cops there)

i didn\'t vote or chime in b/c i\'m a visual person and would rather see a map of where we\'re going.. besides.. i didn\'t want to commit to something that 80% of teh people will bail out on :sarc :(

bbq #2 will be a family event 100% no crusie scheduled
maybe we can get some game of hatch against sedans. . .
frisbe, touch foot ball, softball
or just have some games for fun!
i was thinkin the park that majic suggested
if there are enough kids coming we can plan some special events for them
