are people willing to donate to the club?
are people willing to pay an annual membership fee?
what do u think is fair?

anything u can think of
throw it up here!

we should be required to pay a fee, to be entitled to the discount!
only fair, and then the club will have funding!

I donated $60 ... saved almost a grand by purchasing from TheBiz back in the days - indirect referal from this club. That plus all the knowledge I have slowly crammed into my head about cars and our 3 specifically. It\'s all worth way more than what any of us would ever donate.

It\'s up to you guys when you donate, where the money will go. If you PayPal via the link at the top of the forum listing here, it goes to Robin, AKA TM3 to pay for the domain registration and hosting fees. If you give the cash to Xenon or myself, the money will go into our cash till and it will be used for upcoming events, deposit fund for purchases (ie. baseball caps), etc.

perhaps the best way to do something like this would be to make a minimum donation of 10 dollars per year! for the membership!

that way everyone would be able to donate as much as they want!

There should be special recognition for people who do donate. On other sites, just below their screen name, they get like a \"Contributing Member\" designation. A nice touch.

I actually think user fees would be a better measure for how much a person should contribute. If you make 1000\'s of crap posts, you are wasting bandwidth and using up more resources. Thus you should pay more.

So, broli, you owe $50,000.

Hey man, just because I driver a bimmer doesn\'t mean I am loaded. You could either buy a brand new Mazda3 or buy a 4 or 5 year old 330.

I donate via my quality posts, which are veritable conucopias of automotive knowledge.
