Hello Toronto Mazda 3 club,
My name is Alex and I am contacting you from the Grand Prix Association of
Toronto, a division of Champ Car. If you haven\'t heard the news, Champ Car
(The Race Series) has officially purchased the Molson Indy and is completely
revamping the entire event with a monstrous tuner oriented focus. All the
elements of the races have completely changed with all new content including
a 12 car drifting competition on the Friday and Saturday of the event, Live
Muay Thai and Kick Boxing matches in huge ring with guest appearances UFC
Light Heavyweight Champion Chuck Liddell and Bret \"The Hitman Hart\", an ON
SITE Dyno Competition and a ton of amazing new elements. We are currently
working with all the major car clubs to participate in the event with over
70+ competition classes including E46 Club, GTR Canada, Toronto Subaru Club
and ton more. We have a cash prize payout of $2,000 for the largest car
club on top of a tons of cash payouts and early bird registration rates of
only $45 (per car) for groups 10+ that comes with 2 weekend all access
passes each vehicle (Valued at $100) + grab bags that will access to
EVERYTHING including the races. Being the only tuner event of the summer,
it will make for an exciting weekend!
I met a bunch of you during your last informal meet at woodbine and 16th. I must say I was impressed with the turn out and dedication of your team meeting up on such short notice and in a pretty large quantity. As per Xenon invitation to post this event on your forum I really hope it sparks an interest in your team and I look forward to hearing from you shortly.
If anybody has any questions or concerns please don\'t hesitate to email me,
Alex Del Signore

Yes I have heard of these guys. I was in a promo video for breakfast television with them for DarkNights last year, or the year before that. These guys have great talent and are a bunch of friendly people. Its kinda late to add things to the event, But Ill run it past some officials and see if they will take on the idea. Can you give me some contact info for them. Thanks

So this offer is only to register/enter your car into the competition?
How about just going as a spectator?
I usually just purchase general admission pass for 3 days and walk around the track and take pictures so no need for a seat. General admission pass for 3 days is $49.00 + “TicketMaster’s Convenience charge†$6.75 + “TicketMaster’s Order processing charge†$3.00 (TicketMaster and there high fees!).
Are there any discounts?

Hey John,
Yes, the $45 special are only for members who enter their car for the show. For spectators, GPT Auto Expo has posted up special discount codes (savings from $5-$15!)on the website - www.gptautoexpo.com. If you want to purchase the 3-day general admission pass, with the discount code, your total will only be $34! That is a pretty good steal, so make sure you get those before purchasing your tickets on Ticketmaster :D

Bad Dates.
It\'s Champ Car...Not F1 anymore...
You want us to pay you to park our cars...so you can charge people to see them.
You need us to make money, why should we have to pay.?
I\'d go if I get a cut of the Gate.

Charmp Car has recently purchased the Molson Indy. Just to clear things up for you but the MOLSON INDY uses INDY cars. The Grand Prix Of Toronto uses INDY cars. F-1 in Montreal uses Formula 1 Cars. They are different cars. I hope that makes things a little more complex for you.
I see you have the subie and rx-8 sitting in the Sun\'s parking lot there. Is there going to be a lot of coverage done by the sun?
I work across the street :p
solution

Yes there is. The Toronto Sun daily newspaper is going to have alot of coverage. As well as normal ads in the newspaper, TV commerials, Radio Commercials, ect.
