man,

what a bad night. i was driving on the dvp northbound going 100 (10 past 90 speed limit) then a car starts following really really close, so i decided to step on it, a stupid move instead of changing lanes. at this point im 37 over and just as i check my mirror to see if hes still behind me, i see lights...

anyways i was wondering does anyone know any good ticket people and how much it usually costs?

man, this is a bad \"mini-summer\"

I went 25 over the limit. I went to a ticket fighter which cost 300, they promised to win with no point deduction, any additional charges or fines we included in the price.

This was over 2 years ago so I dunno if they are still there (Victoria Park and McNicoll), but I thought I\'d share my experience of what they charged and included with mine so you\'d have an idea. It was a good choice for me, I won.

EDIT: Oh and I forgot to mention. You don\'t have to goto court...they represent you.

Good Luck,

I would suggest you contact XCopper Legal services. I have dealt with Xcopper once and their service was great.

It was O.P.P. right?

I heard the chances of fighting O.P.P. tickets are slim is that true?

I wonder if it was the officer that made you go faster in the first place.. if it was it wasn\'t right of him to tailgate you like that.. but then I guess it wasn\'t right of you to speed like that..

oh well.. what\'s done is done and they\'re always right.. I think one of those places like xcopper would be a good place to start.. doesn\'t hurt to call them up.. good luck.. let us know how things go..

X-Copper is over rated. I took mine to Quest Traffic Court Agency. Very nice lady there Theresa Cobb took my case. I did 40 over on the 401 the officer reduced it to 135. Because I was a student I paid her $170 and she took care of the rest. I got a letter from Milton court 1 month before the court date saying that all charges were dropped. 3 weeks after getting stopped for doing 40 over I was stopped for doing 28 over and decided to fight myself although it was Peel not OPP. I went to court and the prosecutor told me they are so flooded with people doing 50 and 60 over that they are going to drop the charges against me. Personally Id go with a small but reputable agency. X-coppers are going to cost you hundreds more and they will do the same job. If you\'d like the number pm me and Ill be more than happy to send it to you.

Good luck and dont let it stress you!

I fought all of mine... don\'t ask...

But I went with Pointts.

You win some you lose some, but you should fight them all.

I\'ve used Pointts as well and won each time I used them.

Back when I needed a ticket fighter Pointts was the main player in town.

I used them twice. One was for minor stuff and one was for a major offense (54 over on the 401 heading East to Montreal... no one was on the road.. I was getting bored... stupid... yes... never to happen again) I paid in total including the monetary fine $1000. It hurt in the short run, but in the long run it had to be done so my insurance rates would not go up.

I think all these ticket fighters are decent... they are all ex cops or have some connection within the courts.

Good luck.

I heard OPP officers don\'t show up to court as often as York Region Police.

what exactly is your charge?

actually its the opposite, OPP always shows up because they have nothing better to do, and Peel/York usually doesnt show up.

really? cause the York officer that pulled me over, showed up.
I\'ll take your word for it though. I just hope I never get a ticket again.
