Starting Manual Car

I got my car yesterday, it\'s a hatchback GT. I\'ve been having problems starting the car. It seems to occurr only when I park the car with 1st Gear in. It feels like it\'s struggling to start, anyone have any ideas?

Congrats on your new car.

Whats the problem ?
Does it turn over or just dead when you turn the key?
I assume you have the clutch fully depressed.
If not.... thats probably the problem.... Car won\'t start without the clutch in.
